- Hey guys, I'm back with another video!! So, in todays video I am sitting down to watch Hereditary for the first time ALONE. I have actually seen this movie before right back in 2018 when it first came out but I watched it with a friend, and we literally had to take a break half way in because we were that scared... so for some reason I decided to try it alone. Let's just say I hated every second of it but hope you guys enjoy seeing me suffer. xoxo

Midsommar I think isn't as scary as it is unsettling and completely disturbing... I think even some cast members needed therapy after filming it 💀😂 HOWEVER it's fantastically made and I absolutely recommend it if you appreciate Horror!!! Also yes, that's a bong 😂

Ya it definitely wasn't scary I mean there where some somewhat scary parts but it was just extremely disturbing. Although I think Terrifier 2 is more disturbing. But it definitely was disturbing and kept me on my toes
Toni Collette should have got an Oscar for this performance. The visceral, primitive, animalistic pain in her voice when she discovers the body is insanely realistic... and haunting.
out of everyone in the family, I feel the worst for Peter. he had to watch his whole family get tortured and basically die and then finally get taken over by a demon spirit. in the scene at the dinner table, I see everyone's point tbh. Peter is just a child at the end of the day and while he technically did kill his sister it was an accident and he was in shock when it happened so I can't say that I would do anything differently than he did at his age. yes, Annie lost her daughter but she is also Peter's mother and should still be trying to look after him as well. I honestly think the whole family should have gone to counseling and that would have helped with a lot of their trauma and issues. anyway, great reaction! one of the best I've seen of this movie haha and yes, I watched it alone during the day with all the windows open and the sun shining in 😅❤
This is one of my favourite horror movies! Yay! Love it or hate it you gotta admit Toni Collette put her EVERYTHING in to her role, that kitchen table scene scared the shit out of me, and I still see the ceiling head banging scene in my head when Im washing my face every now and again. Such a good freaking movie

I saw Hereditary in the theater. When I say that was a collective experience....man. The friend I saw it with would hiccup really loudly at random points, and at one point it was really quiet and he hiccuped. Everyone almost shat their pants.

He never told his mother about the accident. He was in shock, he drove home and got straight into bed, leaving his mother to find the body spontaneously in the morning. That’s why she was so fucked up about it and angry with him and why you see him laying in bed listening and waiting for the screams he knew would come. This family doesnt talk to each other it’s like, the main problem.
watching this movie in the cinema was so intense... after the head scene everybody went dead silent
Hereditary, MIDSOMMAR, The Witch, Babadook, Conjuring, Exorcism of Emily Rose... Those are truly outstanding films with strong performances and disturbing elements of fear, grief, loss and trauma. BTW you're so incredibly adorably cute when you're scared 😁

I recommend watching “Hereditary Ending Explained” videos there’s a lot of details that you miss on the first watch. Like the ppl in the woods around the house at the end, how when they are in the parking lot Joan had bought a chalkboard (so she was lying about her family being dead ) & alot of other great details!

First time I watched I was stoned. It's was such a great experience. I adore the movie so much. It's imo one of the greatest movies ever made. So complex, raw, and draining. It's like as you watch the family being drained of life throughout the film you are also being drained.

The Babadook is Australians scariest movie, and it's amazing. I'd say the horror movie "Us" and "Babadook" are the scariest movies I've seen

Hereditary is so good! I wouldn’t watch it again probably but it’s good. I don’t like when people say Peters trauma response to Charlie’s death is weird or psychotic.

I watched The Night House in cinemas and was telling a lot of people about it. It has scary moments indeed, but I would say it's one of the most artistic/deep horror movies. I recommend!

- The Night House (it's not as scary or as gory as this one, but it's definitely unsettling)
- The Invisible Man (2020)
- Us (you will have fun)
- The Babadook (the one that was named in Scream 5)
- Midsommar
- Halloween (1978)
- Ready or Not? (it is directed by the ones who made Scream 5, and it's one of my favorite movies)
Horror films are not my thing but somehow watching them with you makes them fun! I get to appreciate the film without being completely scarred 😂
lol I just watched this because I finally watched this movie. I swear you and I had the same reaction throughout! I did not look in the background, because I kept saying “nope! Not doing it! And looking away. I even stopped it to see how much time was left, and turned down the volume right around the same times!

I definitely recommend watching MIDSOMMAR, its from the same director as hereditary and its a completely unique film, its definitely not as scary as hereditary but I will say that its absolutely sick and twisted.. its made brilliantly though and if you appreciate cinematography and horror its an amazing movie to react to!

no you are 100% correct. it was an accident plus it's heavily implied by the carving of the cult's symbol on the telephone pole that the accident itself was orchestrated by the cult.

I not only watched this alone, but I started at 1:00 AM with the lights off...I'd heard that it wasn't supposed to be scary. Seen it plenty of times since, though; it's a great film.
I don't know why The Night House would be on a list of scariest movies. It's a really terrific film, but I didn't find it scary at all.
“Annabelle : Creatio” (the 2nd Installment in the Annabelle series and conjuring Universe is the ONLY 100% Rottten Tomato rated Horror movie thst had rates 100% which is “perfect”. Horro gets shit on by critics which is rediculius when you have these movies hereditary, Midsommar. C inuring universe and some thst are based on true recorded events . Annabelle creation is often not seen because many didn’t like the first one as much as Conjuing but it’s sad because a pretty decent rating site to give a hoot and only one -00% is really impressive , it’s very worth watching . If you really want to scare yourself there’s a lot of brides and Iinfo and the actual videos and tapes recorded in the Ed and Lorraine Warren cases over years. , vidoes of doctors and psychologists, police officers etc describing what they saw in these cases and man it’s pretty compelling. For example, in the z conjuring 2 , the Enfield England haunting which was the most documented and publicized haunting ever 3 police officer Cane to the home when the mother and kids were terrified as it showed, and in the movie they saw surely it’s rats and as he says if the kitchen chair slides Ailey accross the floor and around the corner and slams back into the wall and the police literally run out the house and say we can’t help with that, get a priest! Some viewers said thst never happened but the Warrens Daughter thst holds the right now to all the thousands of documents cases ;.and sent photocopies of 3 incident police reports by 3 ooocie thst sent I check . All 3 describe the sand thing and even their hand writing was shaking still. The tv reports wanted the see then and the pick is said they have no record of it but as it blew up , the female officer got a hold of the mither and told her that all 3 of them say and reported what they saw, 3 of them asked for some time off and Shirley after the high up in that department brought all 3 in and said thst they needed to despond if those reports and rewrite them truthfully becaue the world press is flying. And the oolical people that run things said having 3 police say they saw a ghost says the departments crazy but -ALlL 3 of us were told again doth a mandatory leVd of a sense for mental health would be pushed if they didn’t change the reprints . ALlL 3 said they were more scared of lying about what they saw and offending something sk ALl were out on leave and the reports not available for some time. Most think the police department hif then to suffice a okiitacm power but when you’d Ed thst, it’s tidal. It’s not a stunt house. 7?: seen things mysie so I agree. And also agree thst you should NOT say the words in r the walls , their legitimate words that are some scarry stuff.
