- Tim Burton, known professionally as Shmee150 or Shmee, is a British car vlogger and RUclipsr, who is based in London. His RUclips channel shmee150 has over two million subscribers and features videos of him traveling around the world talking about and driving supercars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Mercedes just to scratch the surface.
This week's episode see's Steve join Shmee at the Shmee150 Museum (or the shmuseum) for a very special episode dedicated to the supercar dream, the exploits and adventures of the Gumball Rally, the future of cars and racing in a more sustainable world, and how to take your talents to the world through the use of social media.
Shmee reveals his greatest memories from 12 years as a Supercar influence including; Going on a Safari in a Mercedes G-Wagon Maybach, Driving a laferrari aperta at sunset and waiting on the streets of london to film a video of the Lamborghini sesto elemento.

Awesome interview mate. This is my first time seeing your channel but this level of interview is fantastic and I'm seeing clips for it all over youtube.
For me, its the passion, when someone is passionate about something, and can turn it into a business, they are going to excel. for the most part, this Channel gives a vision, on what most of us desire, for example, the recent video on car lifts, If I win the Euro lottery, I know where I am going for my car lifts, and my PPV wraps, not a super car guy, but really want the cars I really want. with regards to the future, its the same as when you were younger Tim, we don't know, how will social media evolve, all we can do is adapt, your passion and work ethic, will find away, of that I am sure, cannot believe I have never subscribed, missed that, and rectified. keep up the passion. and the content.
Tim is my idol.
He is a Hero to me, times where i have been long down and wery tired of my life.
I have been watch his videos and written with him, and it have liftet me up again.
He is just the kindest man on Earth.

39:30 he’s done this very effectively! I was very surprised to learn in a recent podcast (the iced coffee hour) that Tim actually has a team of 10 people helping him! I just thought he did everything himself
I don't know about your dad, Steven, but we 'oldies' over 60 are not all technophobes. I'm 68 and my two brothers are in their 70s but we all enjoy Tim's channels across multiple social media platforms. We are after all the original petrolheads who have supported car design and engine development at every stage over the decades, and without our engagement, investment and loyalty to various brands over many years, none of today's innovations would have been possible. Many of the concept and production supercars we grew up drooling over paved the way for the innovative designs and builds we see today. So please don't write us off just yet. But hey, great content, Steven, and a masterclass from you and Tim on how to turn dreams into reality. You both deserve your success.

****Its called key employee insurance. Or at least in the US, that is the tool we deploy to insure against an untimely death or dismemberment/ hospital stays etc, anything that would take that person away from their normal business duties.

Lets do some numbers, we have 2 billion ICE’s in operation world wide from car to lawn mower to outboard engine, we replace them with about 100 million a year, so if we stopped now and would go full Electric it will still take 20 years but we do just about 2% , it’s going to take decades to replace the ICE. The ICE will be living alongside EV’s just as the horse and ICE did for decades. The EV might just be the reason why interesting ICE cars still have a long future
And for those who where around in the 80’s and 90’s it’s already no way near as fun as in the past, you missed the automotive good times, sorry

people just assume stuff based on a very common surname, Tim has said a few times that his dad ain't a millionaire or even bilionaire and he is self made.
