  • Zibo, the ancient capital of Qi State#On the road
"Zibo barbecue" has become popular inside and outside the Great Wall and across the country, and has also attracted everyone's attention to the city of Zibo. The place name Zibo is taken from the name of the two subordinate counties of Zibochuan and Boshan, and was used as the name of an administrative region in 1945.
Although the place name is young, Zibo's history is not young. As the former capital of Qi State, it was one of the most prosperous regions at that time, and there are endless stories to tell.
    Jiang Ziya founded the country
There is an idiom called "shoulder to shoulder", which comes from "Yanzi Chunqiu" in the Warring States Period: "Qi's Linzi has three hundred households, and they spread their sleeves to form shade, sweat like rain, and they are shoulder to shoulder", which means that there are three hundred households in Linzi, the capital of Qi State. They can cover the sun by spreading their sleeves, and sweating is like rain. Everyone walks shoulder to shoulder, with toes connected to heels. Linzi, the former capital of Qi State, is in Linzi District of Zibo City today. It can be seen that Zibo has a profound historical heritage, and it is not accidental that it has become popular again.
The ruins of the ancient city of Linzi were discovered in Qidu Town, north of the urban area of Linzi today, including the big city, small city, streets, drainage system, palaces, handicraft workshops, horse sacrifice pits (or the tomb of Duke Jing), etc. The Mausoleum of the King of Tianqi was also discovered, consisting of the tombs of the second king (or Hou Yan and Duke Huan), the tombs of the four kings (or King Wei, King Xuan, King Min, and King Xiang) and more than 400 tombs around. In addition, there are tombs of ancient people believed to be Guan Zhong, Gao Xi, Duke Xiao, Yan Ying, Tian Rangju, the Three Scholars, Qian Ao, Wang Gu, Tian Dan, etc., as well as landscape sites such as Duke Huan Terrace, Chuan Terrace, Wu Terrace, Xuegong Terrace, Zun Terrace, Jixia Academy, and Confucius Wen Shao Place.
