- The Lucas Brothers and Flash Garments were in town for an AEW Dallas stop and decided to swing by for some sneaker shopping and to discuss their career! They co-wrote and co-produced Judas and the Black Messiah (2021), for which they were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay; they won the Paul Selvin Award and the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Writing in a Motion Picture. The film itself was nominated for six Academy Awards, including the Academy Award for Best Picture.

Honestly, I want to see The Lucas Brothers get their chance to work with both Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman. These two iconic legends in the industry and even outside there respected industry could honestly give both The Lucas Brothers the upper hand in the path they take to directing and how that side of film works. Not to take way from The Lucas Brothers success they are they are having right now but just a thought from the big upper hands.
