At :1.04.40 question 20 why loan amount has taken for 50 mill for 6 m when in question it's 25 mill for 6m ? Even if Fra is available at 25m for 3m it would have been taken for 6M i.e 25m for 6m , under sir solution co. Is borrowing for 50m for 6m which I don't understand is it wrong?
So the logic is the future contract is available for only 3 months. Whereas the company wants to hedge for 6 months. To compensate the period they doubled the amount from 50 million to 100 million The formula is just a way to double the amount
