Kalista lore and TL;DR version below in case you didn't understand the quotes. In life, Kalista was a general to a kingdom now long forgotten. She was loyal only to the throne. The king had several enemies, and so many assassins were sent to kill him. During one of these assassination attempts Kalista deflected a poisoned dagger that was meant for the king but instead hit his beloved wife. Priests and doctors were called upon to heal the queen but none knew what type of poison it was and could not heal her. So the king sent Kalista to find a cure for this poison, as Hecarim of the Iron Order took her place temporarily. Kalista traveled around the world and met all kinds of people, however it didn't matter. None knew the cure to the poison... until Kalista happened upon Isles covered in pale mists. She encountered monks who told her they could heal the queen with the Waters of Life that could heal any wound and gave her a talisman that would allow her to return to Helia (capital city of the Blessed Isles) where the Waters of Life were but was warned against sharing this knowledge. Kalista returned to the kingdom to find the now ruined king was locked inside his tower with the corpse of his wife, he demanded to know what Kalista found but she told him, with a heavy heart, that the cure she found would be of no use now. In his madness the ruined king deemed her a traitor and imprisoned her. Hecarim persuaded Kalista to tell the ruined king about the Blessed Isles. Then maybe he would find peace in accepting his queen was gone and allowing her to rest in peace. Kalista agreed, and so they sailed to the Blessed Isles where they found Helia. The same masters that gave Kalista the key to Helia told the king that Death was final. To cheat Death was to disrupt the balance of natural order. The ruined king ordered Kalista to kill the masters, but she refused. Hecarim seemed to be standing by her side, when he stabbed her through the chest with his spear, the Iron Order, ever loyal to their master stabbed Kalista through the back with their spears as well. The last thing Kalista saw were her own soldiers being slaughtered along with the people of Helia, with her dying breath she swore vengeance. The next time Kalista opened her eyes she saw the land covered in unnatural magic, she looked upon Helia which had been twisted into a mockery of it's former self. The Blessed Isles had been transformed into the Shadow Isles, an endless nightmare of undeath. She tried to remember Hecarim's betrayal, but over the centuries it has faded into fragments. Now Kalista has become a specter who is invoked by those sharing a similar fate, a death from betrayal. The ruined king went into the chamber and attempted to revive his wife with magic. He succeeded but he only brought back a rotting corpse begging to return to her eternal rest. The ruined king accepted this and attempted to bind both their souls. This spell was empowered by the magical artifacts in the surrounding chambers, we don't know what happened to the ruined king or his queen even to this day, but whatever happened resulted in an explosion that inadvertently created the cursed Black Mist and began the Ruination which was the Black Mist exploding in all directions across the Blessed Isles transforming into the Shadow Isles. The only thing we now know about the ruined king is the crater where the the Ruination began and that Yorick sends Mist Walkers to the crater as scouts, but none have ever returned...
Usually the bug ur experiencing should be fixed with encoder or just try to run the project again if it happens the same check the project for smth wrong bec sometimes the app during the render malfunctions and moves ur compositions...and if this still happens than uninstall and install the app again
this is the exact reason i love this channel so much. usually the "long walk quotes" tell the story of a champ. this channel puts them together in a kind of chronological order. that combined with the music and pacing, makes for very nice videos.
Plot Twist in TRK: Kalista shows up at the end of the game, and yells: "DEATH TO THE TRAITORS!" And throws a spear into the screen, deeming riot the traitors for not letting her into the game
False, kalista only listens to the betrayed, pyke was part of a ship's crew, when you join a crew you sign up a contract, on that contract was sspecified that if neccesary you will be dumped ( especially on pyke's case where he jumped to kill a sea beast that was dragging their ship down, so the crew cut his rope to save the ship... ) Pyke was not betrayed, he signed his fate on that contract, he signed his fate when he jumped w an harpoon against the beast by himself... That means kalista has nothing to pursue...

Well dang. Kalista resonates with some of my darkest moments in life, the moments where I felt most betrayed. There have been things where I wished someone dead or tortured for their betrayal, but being unable to follow through with it had to instead realize that those thoughts and feelings were hurting me. I had to learn to forgive, move on, live despite that. I don't think I'll listen to Kalista's words again, they remind me too much of my darker moments that I've learned from and left behind.
You could try using a mix of LoL and Legend of runeterra quotes next time, there are some great ones. Especially for older champions like Miss Fortune or Hecarim, LoR adds a lot to their personality

Kalista is one of, if not, my favorite characters I never play. She, like Yorick, deserved more during the ruination event. I do wish, visually, she got the full spooky treatment she did in the trailer and on release. The two main things being the visible bones in her body and the enlarged claw-like hands and feet.
Kalista quotes is much better in Legends of Runeterra. But this is ok and nice job, try Lor quotes their are much more updated and they are canon to the lore of league : D
Kalista at face value is one of those champions who just seems alright, nothing too remarkable about it. But it’s when you really delve into the lore of the shadow isles that you realise she’s a super good character

The Noxian one caught my eye though, from the short description he/she seems to be a tank, but they can shred armor and make escapes easily. Sounds more like a top laner to me though. There's still hope for Ledros though! Riot has been saying that they're trying to get characters from lore back into the story. Examples are Yone and Senna.
