Disney takes CRAZY precautions to make sure that everyone is constantly taken care of and is always having a good time. According to his video, she only verbally warned them once, got easily defensive, cursed, and very obviously tried to make them feel as bad as possible. "We're not idiots you know" and "you can wave to the camera right now" are really not appropriate responses. I get that people assume groups of "bros" are gonna be rowdy. But you can be stern without being a jerk.
I worked at Canada's Wonderland for 3 summers in a row and I had to deal with so many jerks. The majority of them were young adult men who thought that they were above the rules and mothers who would bring out every insulting word they could if you didn't let their kid ride on a ride that they obviously could not go on. They treat you like you are a worthless piece of trash. Yet I never once spoke to them the way she was speaking. I would have been fired if I had. And this was just a normal theme park. Disney's employee rules are so much more strict. Some people just aren't cut out to work at theme parks.

Using a Cell Phone "on set" (aka where a guest could see us) would get us immediately fired. Disney holds strong ethics that does NOT allow a Cast Member to speak to a Guest the way she did. Yes, she may have been having a bad day, but that does NOT excuse her using that sort of language towards you. Honestly, yes y'all should have been seated but that fact that A- She CURSED AT YOU and B- she singled you out AFTER you sat down is 100% against Disney Standards. You have video proof, I would have for sure reported her to guest services right next to the front gates, because Disney does NOT pride themselves on treating guests like shit. That Cast Member is a disgrace to Disney and all the HARD WORKING CAST MEMBERS at Disney's California Adventure Park!!! She should have stopped the ride and told you guys to stay seated during the ride. its a 3 strikes and you're out kind of deal. NOT "do you think I'm fucking stupid" rule. Yes I have kicked guests off my ride (But only after 3+ times telling them to sit down politely). Please call Guest Services and report her. Even if you didn't catch her name, Disneyland will know who was working Grizzly Rapids at that Exact time, and seeing as see E-Stopped the ride, the Managers had to be contacted which means that Disney knows EXACTLY who came up and spoke to you like that. Saw this and told my friend who has worked around most of California adventure for the last 2 years (didn't want to name drop fro privacy reasons). And she said a woman did get fired from that ride in early June because they saw the video and found multiple complaints of her yelling at mainly men and teen groups.... And at one point told a family to quiet the fuck down. So she got fired. Its very likely the same girl because she was working the same ride at the time.

And let me tell you yes you were doing something wrong but she did NOT have to talk to you the way she did just like you have to follow rules so does she as a Cast Member! Saw this and told my friend who has worked around most of California adventure for the last 2 years (didn't want to name drop fro privacy reasons). And she said a woman did get fired from that ride in early June because they saw the video and found multiple complaints of her yelling at mainly men and teen groups.... And at one point told a family to quiet the fuck down. So she got fired. Its very likely the same girl because she was working the same ride at the time.
