That scene in the sinner where she sees the couple on the beach listening to this song, and as the drums hammer and the couple mess around, the look on Jessica Beals face was very powerful, it was both intense and lost. She does not get the credit she deserves.
She was brilliant in The Sinner. From a seemingly insane inexplicable outburst unfolds a truth to many who have experienced trauma. So many levels upon levels to that series. Makes one aware that we tend to react to reactions rather than exploring why it happened. Example, if it wasn't for that detective she'd have been treated as a murder and nothing more. I've been a barman for over a decade and have seen things like this with my own eyes, ordinary people can be pushed to a breaking point and it just explodes in animosity. And that's all we see, not what has created that event.
I appear to be babbling. Just really dug this series and I'm stoked others feel the same.

I listen to music just for the beat and I got to say this is by far one of the most moving beats I have ever heard.
