TXT is the only group that is popular both internationally and domestically and is doing well in both areas. Like say skz they r the most popular 4th bg intl. But domestically they r still not that well known.
Txt r the most popular 4th gen bg in korea and the second most popular 4th gen bg. (And their popularity is very stable like their live vocals in Lollapalooza and they have the most united fandom) Like even without any cb , they r always in the top 10 of the most searched artists in korea.(overall bg, not 4th gen bg).
For skz , thanks to jyp and their world tours. They get heavily promoted intl. Btw they r also promoted domestically like they participate in all kinds of survival shows but still they r not able to appeal much as they do intl.
For other 4th gen bgs they have some hit songs , their popularity rise but then it soon died out.
For Ateez , they r doing pretty well like their popularity is growing tho not as much as skz and txt. And I guess it will take a year or two to b one of the top 4th gen bg.
Btw let me tell u why skz and txt r doing really well . It's because they found their own music. They now have a sound which indicate their identity.
Skz is known for its loud music (I'll never say noise , noise and music r completely different. People who learn the chapter sound in their high school will know the difference)
While when someone mentions TXT , the word emo rock pop punk comes to our mind.
It's not like having concepts like teen crush , girl crush, mature , royalty etc etc. Its just the way people perceive your group's songs and its deep meaning.
For other 4th gen groups , they r yet to find their own music . That's why not only 4th gen bg some gg too when they switch to a dark concept or rock concept or others , they r criticized. I think we all know what we r talking about.

Meanwhile ENHYPEN they aren't popular in korea that much but they have huge fans in many other countries - Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, US, UK, Malaysia. You can know just by their TTA award, they got 6 awards, they were first in 5 countries. They were only 4th Gen to show their International popularity in that many countries.

TXT and TBZ are really popular in South Korea, and specially TXT gained a lot of fans recently in SK after Good Boy Gone Bad. TBZ's ranking should be higher and TXT's ranking is correct, and other than that most of the girl groups ranking should be higher than the other boy groups in the list, as the girl groups are more popular than the boy groups.

Try to put svt on hiatus for as long as exo does, can they still enter the brand reputation as high as exo at this time? Even the highest peak when MelOn was still using a system called "MelOn 24 hits", exo's songs were still higher than what svt got (I only mentioned MelOn 24 hits system because that was the last time exo made a comeback and that system well known as the hardest MelOn system)

To be honest boy groups aren't really popular in South Korea at all. Most of the top boy groups chart like unpopular girl groups on melon. TXT and The Boyz are kinda popular but all the boy groups here should be way lower, or not there at all lol.

Back in the day there were many hit boy group songs, but now not even koreans who like kpop can name a popular boy group song, let alone people who don't care about it. Boy groups still used to chart well at night if they had a decent sized fanbase to stream (like NCT hit #1 even with lower individual listeners than StayC) but now 4th gen can't even do that.

I feel it’s bc girl groups are a lot more marketable to young ppl as well as children and adults than boy groups who mostly bring in teens and young adults. So I think as group amounts increase and styles change, since all age groups in Korea are interested in kpop, it makes more sense that girl groups are the concerts families go to and want to see on tv etc. while Western audiences see liking groups as a teenage sort of thing and so teenagers primarily consume kpop and often vibe more with the style of boy groups in many ways

I know boy groups in general(4th gen) is not popular in SK( esp. MELON charts). Their tt never enter top 100. But among them ,TXT have done the best. They have the longest charting tt , _Run Away_ for 591 days and it's still charting. They have 3 tt charting in Melon charts which is the most among 4th gen. Also the most streamed songs of 4th gen bg in Melon top5 all belong to txt's new album songs ( no.2en- Polaroid love tied with txt's unit song Thursdays child has far to go.)
All in all , tho not as much good as the top 4th gen gg, TXT is doing the best among the 4th bg in Melon charts . And considering the fact , they have a huge fanbase in korea and undoubtedly the most popular 4th gen bg in Korea. No wonder they r invited to perform at Blue House.

TXT is my ult but if we talk about their fame in South Korea then The Boyz should be rank higher. As far as i know 4th gen GG is more popular than BG. So far 4th gen BG who's already charting on melon TOP 100 are TBZ & TXT (i'm quite sure their highest peak are around TOP 30). For GGs are different case, their chart is better than all BGs. Most of 4th gen GGs are on melon TOP 20 even higher.

They go to US because they need investor for their Technology. And aespa has such a effective way to promotion in SK that yall may never realized.
