Jeux Sans Frontières. Round 7 of the International heats of It's A Knockout arrived in Sunderland. Held at the Princess Anne Park Arena, Washington. 25 August 1981 (first broadcast 30 October 1981 at 7pm). Out of 7 teams taking part Sunderland came joint bottom with Portugal on 28 points. The programme introduction showed views of Sunderland, Washington, Seaburn, Roker and the shipyards.
