I spent so so long on online dating, it took me forever to meet someone. Ive been with her for almost a year and I still have anxiety over potentially having to go back on those f%#!ing apps.. I had so many matches that I had to keep my profile hidden. Suffice it to say that more than half of the matches were golddiggers or straight prostitutes. Or sugar babes, which is pretty much the same thing. I had to put in my description: "if you are an escort or a sugar baby swipe left, please". The other girls barely answered my questions, some of them were way too young for me and unwilling to sustain some conversation. Yeah, I got some dates, but it is not worth the hassle.

Find something that people go to or do that your interested in and meet people that way. Another option is to make new friends because someone usually will try to set you up with someone.

Religious places like church used to be a good place to meet before dating apps. Even that has become pretty much useless now. Almost every young guy in the church I go in Alabama are single, same with women, although they are less single women than men.
I'm 5"9, shredded like Thor, chiseled jawline, dress very well, charismatic (so I'm told lol), good texting game, and I get 1 match a month on tinder by a 3/10. I still approach in person mainly, and have all good fun interactions with women. I've almost never to told no when asking for a number, but that's where 99% of it ends. lol these are the identical tinder profiles that existed when I was a young adult. Now that it’s been about a decade, I’ve noticed most of the girls can’t have these sort of bios or they stay single.
Looking at the comments here made me feel somewhat special lol. I always criticized tinder myself, but my experience is still far better than all the other ones here. I'm 5'7, athletic and talkative and I always managed to get some good dates from tinder every now and then, even some girls taller than me. I got banned on Tinder in the first five minutes due to my profile being reported. All I did was upload pictures. People kept messaging me demanding I tell them how I'm single and then they would report my profile when I wouldn't respond to them fast enough.
My friend has gone from actually trying on tinder to just sending every girl "Your girlfriend looks like my mom!" And it's the closest he's ever gotten to them aknowledging him despite him having the who knows difference version of tinder that you pay like triple for.
Tinder is a hookup app not intended for serious relationships. This is why people there only care about looks, since they don't intend to be with you for the long term. Same goes both ways. If someone wants something long term they begin to look at other important things such as beliefs, values, character, and personality.
I wish that were true. but every app is about looks. hinge, match, bumble, pof, cmb... all of them are very competitive for men and only the top 20% of men in height, looks, and money get anything on there.

The horrible truth is, even after you date someone you met online, it never lasts. Reason is, because on these apps women have ridiculous amounts of options. So even if you can get a date, you have to meet unrealistic expectations in person... or they move on and date someone else like literally later that same day. I'm from Spain, and the problem with Tinder has been the saturation of men in this app, I remember in 2012, when I was a much worse child physically, I met 2 or 3 every week, it was crazy, you had a lot of matches and you had to rule out women because I could have 5 conversations at a time.
I started tinder again in 2022, physically much better, more masculine, muscular, car etc etc and I barely had a match and thank you, many women only use tinder to promote their Instagram and choose from hundreds and hundreds of men.
Tinder went from 1 man for every woman to 100 men for every woman.
Am I the only one who just doesn't care about women anymore? I don't try to talk to them, I know I'm going to die alone, and that's fine..

how would you know if your sample size is small? You only had two matches and concluded all women are bad lmao. From my experiences, as someone who gets 50+ matches/month, I think it's 50/50. Half of women are genuine and half are crazy with some issues. You just have to weed out the bad ones.

Like if you're average looking you will not get the best looking women but you'll still get some genuine matches if you do take good pictures and present yourself well. I can't relate with these guys dating experiences because I have good quality wholesome pictures so I attract alot of laidback women.

I am from Mexico and don't even use inder but my close friend had matched with this girl from monterrey. After getting to know each other over social media he has decided to fly over to her state, dropping out of university and they both have been together for over a year now. I met my wife in the school were I'm teaching at, I was hired first then she was hired a year later, we became best friends, we went to church, we travelled, we went for a ride in my motorcycle, we settled down then now we have kids. I'm 29 and she's 27, we have 2 kids, we have a decent sized house and a veggie garden because she's vegetarian. Its not that hard actually.

@gab hug I have woman friends as my coworkers and I have no problem having conversations or as friends going out, but we are friends and it’s very clear that romantically no one cares or wants any of that and I respect it, but if normal functioning people with jobs, their own places can’t find a gf then I don’t know what you’re smoking.

Actually did the opposite for me. I found it easier to talk to girls on tinder than in person. Get a few half decent photos and give ur profile some personality and u should do alright. I got a little creative with my lines and had some fun with it. Got a few hookups but nothing serious, but It did pump me up. If I didn’t use tinder I wouldn’t have gained the confidence I needed to ask my current gf out.
