Without a doubt one of the nicest looking British cars of its era. The dashboard is quite beautiful, as is all the interior. Good stuff thanks for this feature gentlemen.
Hi Jeff, Happy to read you appreciate this cars "great proportions and presence" :-) My pleasure sharing this car with you. You're welcome, and I appreciate your support, Lou
Wow ! Lou, I have never seen one of these. Beautiful car with very sleek styling. ! Love the color combo with the real wooden dash. The workmanship of the interior & exterior is fabulous. I'm surprised there is no armrest on the door panel, though. Kind of strange that a fancy car would not have one. ! Also suprised that it's not right hand drive... also runs very smooth - could barely hear it running. ! Thanks Lou & to Richard, for giving us a look at his Bentley. !
This is an interesting looking vehicle. It looks like a close relative to the Rolls Royce stable. It surely has a beautiful interior. The engine sounds healthy and so whisper quiet. This is what I call craftsmanship!
I’m not sure what year it happened but Rolls Royce and Bentley merged or RR bought Bentley so it may have been built by RR which would explain the resemblance
Yes, the chassis and engine were built by Rolls Royce at the Crewe factory and this particular car the body/interior was built by the coachbuilders Mulliner down in London. These Continental's are essentially a standard Bentley R type with a custom coachbuilt body.
Gorgeous, inspired from the american fastback of the 40s, but with the european style, nearly no chrome, amazing proportions, hand made, a marvel of a car. Thanks for sharing !
The car is wonderful, but I was more impressed by Mr. Richard Gorman. What a nice gentleman! I hope that he will be able to enjoy this incredible car for many, many more years. Thanks Lou!
