    The reason they said Deku will be the last wielder of OF A is because quirkless people become more and more rare with every generation, so by the time he would pass it on, there would probably be no one quirkless who also wants to be a hero

      You'd also have to find a quirk less person with the heart of a hero. And considering how they're generally treated by society, that makes it even harder. Hell the number of people with hearts like deku or allmight in the ENTIRE population is probably incredibly small, let alone for quirk less people.

  • @betabishop3144

    Deku might be the last user because quirkless people are getting harder to find, while it is true that 20% of the population is quirkless, this 20% is made of people from all generations who are still alive and are quirkless. So finding a young quirkless person who wants to be a hero and is willing to take the strongest quirk on the planet while simultaneously training their body 24/7 to be up to the task... Is probably something harder to do the more time passes

  • @raec5426
    @raec5426 Год назад +24

    All Might super charging OFA for 40 years, then passing to Deku also explains why Deku has the hardest time using it. OFA quirk much weaker before All Might for him to yield easier, then he loaded up all that power the longest, so that explains the disadvantage even more Deku has to control the power after that. lol

    • @dealwithitbihh
      @dealwithitbihh Год назад +1

      not to mention he only had 10 months to train at 14, and has only had ofa for close to a year now, his progression is honestly impressive for having for so little time compared to allmight

  • @jakecollins5438
    @jakecollins5438 Год назад +34

    Deku may not be the only Quirkless person, but the majority of Quirkless people are from the generations before him. Most would be senior citizens, and they’re the reason they say 80% of the world has quirks. If you were to just look at Deku’s generation, it’s probably closer to 99% having quirks. So the past Users can not simply hope for Deku to do what the 4th did and hide away to make One For All stronger so the next user can defeat All For One. And even if he does win, the odds are astronomically against him finding a Quirkless person worthy of the power and responsibility of being the 10th user.

    • @raec5426
      @raec5426 Год назад +2

      Nope, Deku isn't the only quirkless. Melissa in MHA movie 1 quirkless. Most of them old though. lol

      Yeah, as I said, 99%, not 100 other than Deku.
      But Melissa is the same age, so she wouldn’t be able to use it for much longer than Deku would. So unless he needs to transfer it early, it needs to be the generation after.

    Talking about the last arc, the thing is they were not underprepared. There were a ton of heroes to complete the mission, the priority was to take Shigaraki (and the liberation front on the mansion) before the 4 month mark that Hawks said was the moment when the liberation front was going to attack (because Shigaraki was in coma for 4 months to upgrade his body) so they prepared to attack 1 month prior to that. Obviously the Doctor had nomus prepared but they still got to Shigaraki, at that point they had the victory, but then plot happened when Shigaraki resurrects out of nowhere by "pure hate, his will" because it was explained that the electric shock was nothing, Xless didn't feel anything. At the point Shigaraki is awake, he killed people, talked to Gigantomachia who killed more people, in fact everything went bad because of Shigaraki, and this was 1 month prior to the 4 month mark. And then when Endeavor was going to kill Shigaraki, AFO uses his WIFI mastermind to control Shigaraki and bad shit happens again. Literally heroes had the victory until the moment Shigaraki is awake, and how could you stop that? By killing him in the moment they destroyed the machine. That was the only possibility, but yeah you can't kill villains (he was supposed to be dead, but you know, just destroy his body to make sure) just the villains can kill people. Did you see the people when Hawks was talking in the press conference about Twice? they were like ":O HOW YOU DARE" pls, if you can't kill anybody, then yeah, of course people was going to die because of Shigaraki. And obviously this is all set because it is an anime and there would not be any story to tell, but with the same argument you can't blame the preparation, and like i said, they were prepared, and everything happened because of Shigaraki plot and the heroes being not allowed to kill

  • @samuelclayhills3298

    Ironically many people belive that saving Shigaraki is the played out talk no jutsu way to win. Also even if he is saved at best he would probably be thrown into Tartarus anyway so killing him would be the smarter move just to be safe I mean look what happend when All for one wasen't killed althoug Im not sure if we have even found a way to kill him yet.

    Ignoring the whole sins of a father thing that has some basis in Japanese culture. The hawks point is mainly about appearance.
    If the general populace is shown a literal video of a previously well regarded squeaky clean hero commiting a seemingly villainous act(murdering twice) and then you find out that heros father was a criminal and then he LIES about it to you. You'll be suspicious of him from then on, and if you later find out the truth, it completely destroys his credibility and the trust people have in him and further erodes the trust they have in heroes in general.
    Admitting it and apologizing was the best move he could possibly make. Even if who his father was has nothing to do with him. Especially in a case like this where everyone is on edge and fearful of the future.
    He took accountability and undercut the resentment being built against them about it.

    Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I feel like this also helps validate why Midoriya struggles with the quirk. Like it's pointed out that All Might was able to use the quirk right away, whereas Midoriya couldn't. And maybe some of that is just All Might being awesome

    • @raec5426
      @raec5426 Год назад

      I said that in my comment, so yes that literally explains it. lol Even without knowing All Might held it for 40 years, the nature of the quirk is to stockpile power, so that fact of it being harder to control as it was passed has been in plain sight the whole time without the specifics.

    • @CardiacSoulless
      @CardiacSoulless Год назад

      No doubt. To be clear, when I said "maybe I'm reading too much into it" I was just being a little sarcastic. Just a little rant defending that little green goober Midoriya from some of the grief fans sometimes give him 😅 lol. Like you said, it's been in plain sight the whole time. We always knew (cuz it's a stockpile) that the amount of power All Might first received was significantly less than what he ultimately gives Midoriya. So if someone griefs Midoriya like: 'Why hasn't he mastered it yet? All Might did such and such. I bet Bakugo/Mirio/Whoever would've done blah blah. Etc.' I'm like... we already have the info to address those points: Midoriya has to acclimate to the level of power All Might cultivated over what we knew was a LONG career. Didn't know 40 years exactly, but we knew it was a long time. Hell the reporter with that camera quirk in season 4 had a childhood memory of All Might saving his dad, so we knew All Might was uh... experienced 🧓lol. So Midoriya struggling should never be taken as an indicator that he was inept in some way. It ALWAYS made logical sense (especially when you keep in mind he hadn't even had the quirk for that long). Comparisons to All Might were always bad given the difference in their starting points. And sure, other people could have been perfectly fine successors instead, but people suggest their favorites as replacements as though they wouldn't have also struggled to adjust just like Midoriya did lol. At best someone slightly older (more physically mature), like Mirio, might have had a body that could have acclimated a bit more quickly, but that's just a slight timing advantage. In the long term it wouldn't make much difference.

    And One for all is continuously growing and becoming stronger as more time passes, to pass down such a powerful quirk to even a quirkless person might turn out to be dangerous, so yeah it's safe to say Izuku is indeed the last yielder of the quirk

    I think people missing another huge point here regarding deku passing his power aside from it being rare to find a suitable successor , fortunately for DEKU the predecessor quirks appeared gradually as his power grew, but for the next heir , he will inherit one for all and the predecessors quirks at the same time all at once ( 7 quirks instead of 1) , even if he was quirksless there is a good chance his body will not tolerate that power

    Heroes deserve as much grace as first responders. The general public is too strict on them. To be fair, none of this would've happened if the justice system killed All For One back in Season 3. Had he been executed, Shigaraki wouldn't have received AFO's quirks. Shigaraki would've been fried from Endeavor's Prominence Burn.
