I loved how Lisa pointed out how Roman soldiers were not so “terrible” if you adopted their rules and ways of life. I absolutely see myself in this day adopting the culture of today to have an easier life and sometime I stay silent to avoid tension. Thank you for the encouragement to be bold for Christ!

I have been struggling a lot with discouragement lately. As Lisa said, I have noticed it always begins when I start looking at myself and being self-righteous instead of prioritizing God. I am battling constantly to stay in God's presence and not be overcome by myself. Your videos are such an anchor in my life because they're light and not condemning. Also, thank you, John, for coming to victory church last month and spreading God's truth.
I got a hold of the Bait of Satan about a month ago and I have emersed myself in your teachings every since. I love the way you teach the truth and the awe of God. That fear of God that the world needs is so scares and you are it!!! I know I am new to your teachings but you have the meat that I have been looking for. I'm thankful that the Lord helped me find your videos, I also struggled lately with discouragement but His is faithful, and rich in His mercy and reminded me a couple of days before exactly what Lisa said in the prolog of the video. I really wanted to thank you for your effort, for putting in action the gifts God blessed you with, to John becauseI found him first, in my first weeks/month of finding Jesus, he helped me start to built a wall between my lust problem with a short I found where you said that the person we are losting for, is a person made in the image of God, and more than that he/she was a child like me, that struck me... thank you for spreading the truth may God almighty repay you tenfold.❤

Courage to Obey God. In the middle of the night when I don't obey the voice of the Lord...the enemy of my soul keeps me awake and I am discouraged... I go to old source of counterfeit comfort...food. A stronghold. I ask for prayers for a breakthrough in areas of insomnia and night time eating.

God bless and empower you with freedom to receive the comfort of the Holy Spirit in your hours of need. You do not live on bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God! In peace you will lie down and sleep for the LORD alone makes you dwell in safety. I over came gluttony (eating for comfort and the feelings of i need to eat this sugar/ I must have it have a coffee to get me through- exalting themselves above the LORD as my sustainer) by fasting off sugar for a time, then off coffee for a time etc

But if you have no hope of a better life in eternity? I am dreading it, it sounds horrible and worthless to me and I would much rather just not exist. How can you look forward to an eternal life that has nothing to look forward to, nothing that interests you, nothing worth doing or achieving to you? How can I look forward to eternity with the One who refused to give me courage, who didn’t strengthen me or help me when I called out to Him? My life has been Hell, how can I actually want to spend eternity with the One who forced it on me to begin with? All God gives me is discouragement and hopelessness, yet like hostage I keep obeying.
