Nice. I got the silver one but that black dial looks like a true classic. There's something about the contrast of the Guanqin silver font and that black face that's really nice. Also that chamfered bezel makes it stand out from the crowd of black dress watches. I've never seen a design like that before. The way the light hits those edges. Great design. Probably the best Chinese offering right now. Apart from the slightly short hands
SII sells their NH36 movement to just about anyone, yet the SXK soldiers on with a 7S26. Sometimes I wonder what Seiko's management team is thinking... Not a bad-looking watch in a style that that I don't usually dabble in. To me it looks like a SARB033, which is a good thing. I completely agree that the hands are too short, which is a shame.
I have this one and looking for a couple of new hands without lume, but I cannot find anything on the web that would fit the miyota movement inside.. Wtf

Which one is better? the Guanqin GJ16034 with "saphire" and the doubt about getting Seiko nh36 or myota 8215 movement ? or the Cadisen 1020 "portofino" with seiko nh36 for sure and a normal mineral glass? im from italy and at the moment i can buy the guanqin fon 46€ and the cadisen for 40€ what would u recomend?
Great watch, specs, functions, everything, I have it, works brilliant!!! I don't wear it much though, maybe i got bored of it ;) I have others to wear too, maybe I should wear this more, thanks for reminding me for the watch :)
just received this watch today 12/10/2018. not a seiko nh36a movement but a myota movement. so dont be fooled. maybe they could not manufacture it wih a seiko nh36a cost wise, so changed to a myota
That would be a bit disappointing in my book as well. Did you order the black or "white"(sunburst)? At least Miyota movements are to my knowledge better than most chinese movements. Hope you enjoy your new watch nevertheless.
Nothing wrong with the Miyota movement apart from lack of hacking. Made in Japan owned by Citizen. Quality. I would suggest the reason they ditched the Seiko is because Seiko demand a premium because of the name. Not stupid those Chinese.

Oh yeah I was thinking of putting it on a like weave style strap...i think thats what its called at least. Maybe a mesh strap would look good too. What strap do you use?

The NH35 is actually the 4R35 and 4R36 for non seiko companies.

Nice watch for the money. FYI a steel blade comes nowhere close to hardened glass in hardness so it's not a valid test for sapphire.
