Loved watching your video! I can relate to feeling that I had to find a way to fit in. I had no plans on getting to know my Korean side but life sometimes brings great surprises. Since finding my birth family this year I have become very passionate in getting to know my heritage and the culture. Especially, the food!

Oriental people are so beautiful! My first love was a Chinese Malay. So interesting seeing these stories Thanks. ❤

I realize you are probably from an older generation. But it’s an offensive term to refer to people as oriental. It’s okay to say things like oriental rug, it’s for objects, not people. Just wanted to let you know.

Watching this I feel like I’m watching myself. How she feels is exactly how I felt and feel now.

You do belong and I don’t even know you! My family is all from Texas or Oklahoma or Texhomans I guess. On the border raised in Oklahoma. Listen my favorite uncle is a Mexican and my cousin I’m closest to married a black man and had our heart the sweet heart of our family! She’s half white half black and a beauty but sometimes people are cruel because she married a gorgeous white boy and had beautiful white children but our family is Cherokee so who cares white or black. Our other cousins married black men so our family has become diverse. My husbands best friend is black and we spent a lot of time together and in this small town we messed with people because he shopped with me a lot and was usually holding my baby girl who was white and blonde. At about a year maybe two but very small and someone called our friend black at Walmart and she popped right off Burt is black. She thought it was bad so we had to explain to her about color. We didn’t care what people said. People called my husband and said your wife was out eating wherever with a black man holding your daughter ! Of course my husband knew they were talking about his friend so he messed with the busy body too. This was in NC where my husband is from so yeah very racist people there but we stayed friends and Burt was called brother so yeah a lot of wagging tongues.
