1000% agree on feedback, I had 2 pairs as well. Just don’t hold up for the price, can’t go through bulk. I put the blade on my original cordless toutliner and love it

Underrated! Zero gap them not too close and get back to us. Imo the best on the market. Well balanced they glide good on the skin rarely to almost never snag when going against the grain. Fx for the bulk exo for the lines!

I already liked the video before watching because I already knew I was gonna enjoy the video. I didn’t even have to zero gap them.
This is why I haven’t been throwing money away on clippers like I used to. I got a silver fx and a gold fx that can’t be beat. They do every thing I need them to do. Idk why I buy clippers when the clippers I have are perfect and do everything. I got 3 pair of cordless masters and some octanes and that’s it. That’s all ima buy over and over because really shouldn’t fix something that’s not broke. Anyone agree?

I actually put mine in the trash after reading this review, because you reported the same exact issues I was having with it. I decided to go get it out of the trash, and go purchase a new blade, which comes with the plastic mounting piece as well. It cost me $40, But the trimmer went back to working like it was brand new. I've had this trimmer for at least three years, and this is my first blade replacement. I feel like it was worth it. It's a good tool.

And this is the reason I don’t use andis products anymore. They work great for a month and just go downhill quickly or they just don’t work right out of the box and you have to mess with them. For their price points every one should be perfect and last for years. I’m not as psyched as everyone else is on the fx3 either because they pull and just aren’t as smooth as the regular fx. Anyway great video!
when it s tugging it's the blade follower ....vice grips even that out
Yo I think i figured out why they start to pull. Try and put a petroleum jelly on the rotor and in the hole it goes into. I notice when they come out the box brand new, it has a whole bunch of it on it. It worked for me and are starting to hit again.
Love these trimmers. The best I own. But that price versus the Babyliss trimmers is a no brainer. I would not trust a retailer under 200 bucks. I got them at release for 250. But again Andis has to get real. I haven’t zero gapped mine so a still should get some better performance.

My gtx tugged the first week so I replaced the gold blade with a regular gtx blade and slightly 0 gaped the blade they hitting till this day I’ve had them for bout a few months short of a year another big thing is over charging your clippers leaving them on the charger all night is a big NO NO but that’s honestly common sense for any clipper
I paid $209 for mine from Best barber then I modified it with the one minute blade modification tool hit like a champ but still to got damn high I love my FX3 trimmer the best shot out to Chucka the barber

I wanted to buy the andis gtx for myself, im not a barber so i wont be putting that much wear on them opposed to an actual barber, i cut my hair once a week sometimes every 2 weeks so now im conflicted on should i go with these or the babyliss pro fx3’s

These are the reviews that I like to hear. Of course thing gone work nice straight out the box. It’s the longevity I’m worried about when it comes to getting my money’s worth. Great video
Andis needs to do more longevity quality control. Too bad because they make great blades and some of the best corded tools.
Man I just got these in today from Amazon. Someone help. I rock the baldy and was using Wahl Detailers to shave my head. They are sharp I will say but they were rough out the box for me. I had to adjust them and still do t like them. I’m sending them back for sure. I did spend 135 on these but I need a new replacement. Can you recommend a good clipper for a bald cut. I like my wahl detailers but the need something that cuts closed. Any suggestions. Thanks

I had to sharpen and nicely zero gap my blade for it to work right and now I have it hitting like the original corded t outliner shockingly. However since I paid 250, I shouldn’t have to do anything to it for it to cut right
That’s my experience with andis. The grey old fashion t outliners wouldn’t hit unless I adjusted the tension and adjusted the blades perfectly.. it was very very time consuming. Wish the machine would work without having to do all that
If you have the original cordless t-outliners all you need to do is by the exo blade and bam. Everything else is the same besides the case
Andis Tripp’n all around.. my 2 Cordless Andis Master motor burnt out.. I just plugged my corded Masters and T-Outliners up.
When the motor burns out, customers can’t just mail to Andis for them to fix and/or replace for cheaper?
Here in the UK they only £166, not sure whether to get the gtx or new babyliss trimmer
Is there a difference between the gtx blade and the gtx z blade?

I have andis trimmer, great clippers but not for the price. Had them for over a month paid 190. I DON'T use them for bulk. From the beginning all andis blades over time don't last when using to cut bulk. Line ups and under the neck. Any bulk I use my monster babyliss fx trimmer.
I haven’t used the Andis GTX-EXOs but before I went cordless (Babyliss FX) I used the Corded Andis T-Outliners forever and can tell you from first hand experience that those blades require maintenance. You have to blade wash them every few days and oil them every morning.
I’m not sure if the GTX-EXOs are much like the T-Outliners but I will tell you that my Babyliss Gold FX’s have never come close to hitting like my T Liners. That’s not shot at my Gold FX’s. I love them. The T Liners are by far the best liner I’ve ever used. I’m a traveling barber now and thus I don’t have regular access to power. The day I go back to a shop I’ll gladly plug those MFs right back into a wall.
Yes my babyliss fx is not sharp at all. Im using the corded andis t-liner I had for 4 years and the sharp and I haven’t changed the blade should I upgrade???? Is it a way to sharping the fx

Let’s be honest out the box, should be good. Then they settle in, sharpen blade and zero gap, and they’re new again. Your paying for how good looking of a clipper it is an when my tools look fresh I am more motivated to perform better.

Reg, on a real king, I think Andis could've done a better job with that trimmer especially with that high ass price.
Babyliss hits all the time I think but they do have issues but they try to fix Andis is gonna end up falling short I think I could be wrong

I bought SC absolute hitters.. SNAGGING all day long.. 50$ in new blades no snagging..
Babyliss gold trimmer SNAGGING hair all day with the gold blade.. 50$ in DLC blade.. no snagging..
Crazy.. buy a trimmer and got garbage blades out the box..

The only problem I have with the babyliss trimmers is that they tug on the neck hairs under the chin, causing irritation and that’s with them plugged in. Going back l to the corded T outliners.
I might try the stinger 22 since it has a magnetic motor:

It’s actually a grip from Caliber I just have it on to be able to tell the difference between my “hitters” and the not.

Facts I still get free trimmers when I send them back I haven’t payed till this day just send them back
Loved these for the first month then sold them, the battery life starts to suck, and don’t even get me started on the blade. It’s like it gets dull. It clogs when removing bulk, pulls and just doesn’t hit half the time. Big waste of money done with andis they just don’t care about their product. Gamma Style craft is the way to go

I copped these for $128 off Amazon a few days ago. I don’t like them so far. I thought they’d be closer to the corded GTX trimmers. I don’t know if it’s the blade or the motor or how I have them set but they don’t hit as good. The cordless masters I really like though. I may modify my blade but so far not very impressed. I may return them and see if I can catch the Babyliss trimmers for the low in November.

Amazon has them for $150.00. Do you or any of your followers say it is good for the lower price. I am not a barber and have the the fx3 the exo, the hitter, and the slim line pros. They all have purpose on my beard. I am bald so nothing for my head. I just zero gapped. They seem to be hitting better. I might have to return them after this video..hahaha..
