  • Hi Guys,
    After long days working and studying it can be hard to get to sleep. Luckily, I've learnt a technique to fall asleep quickly - I hope it works for you too!

    I'm shocked! I tried this technique the last 2 days and not only did I fall asleep in literally 2 minutes as the video promises, but the quality of sleep I had at night has also been much better for the same amount of time. Thanks a lot for making this video!

    Great video like always! What do you think is the best sleep schedule for a Year 11/12 Student?

      It really depends on what will work for you; how many hours of sleep you can actually function off really. I would recommend to everyone that waking up early is just such a power move but people have different chornotypes which means some people are actually made to stay up later and some to wake up earlier. Most people don't lean to either edge! I'm really not sure where I lie. I used to stay up quite a bit and then had a normal sleep schedule and now I wake up really early. It's different for everyone person, so just make sure that you're getting a healthy amount of sleep no matter what, because that's what matters. And it's not just hours of sleep, it's the quality of your sleep too. Hope that helps, please let me know any other questions that you have!

    Do you have a source for the relaxation technique (both for the mental and the phyiscal). I really want to build a deeper understanding of these techiques and the ideas behind them since it feels like I'm not doing them perfectly or I think they might work even better if I just knew more since I would have more to implement.

    Hey what is that reminder app at the start of the vid?

    Do you use anki for the really important facts you need to know and remember and like the key stuff, and then do you use notion for key facts + extra context that may be nice to know? im confused sorry

      @ArcherNewton  3 года назад

      100% you got it exactly

      hey was wondering if you could give me a example of this?

    • @ArcherNewton

      @@aznatyles7626 If I'm trying to learn how DNA replication works then I would write active recall questions for those in notion, and if i can't understand the answer to one after trying it a few times or it's just something i have to remember, I'll put it into anki :) It's always more important to try and understand why an answer may be the way it is rather than just memorise, but sometimes that's the case, so I'll just put it into anki, like remembering a random number. Really you should try avoid putting many cards into anki because it can quickly become very overwhelming to review all those cards.

      Tyvm for response. Also do you take all notes with the cornell notes system?

    • @aznatyles7626
      @aznatyles7626 3 года назад +1

      Btw do you think this is a good study routine? if not please tell me how to improve.
      1. Go to school and write paper notes in my notebook.
      2. When arriving back home, I will read the notes I made at school to understand them more a bit.
      3. Before entering the study zone, I will use the pomodoro technique to ensure that I won’t get burnt-out while studying.
      4. I will then open notion and convert those notes into the cornell notes system.
      5. I will then Actively recall these questions after.
      6. If I get some wrong and continue to, I shall import them to anki.
      7. After I’m confident about successfully completing a study session I will mark the session as a repetition in my retrospective timetable, and I shall approach the same topic a few days later for spaced repetition to ensure I do not forget.
