In this video, I talk about about the best new settings for Fortnite Chapter 4 season 4. As I'm sure you all know, the FPS and overall look of the game has been really weird this season. The map is insanely purple, and due to bad FPS and frame drops everything feels delayed. Don't worry if you're experiencing these issues because everyone else is too. Luckily, I was able to gather the best brightness settings, video graphic quality options, and FPS Boost tricks and tips to help optimize your game in Chapter 4 season 4. how to improve in fortnite and get better on controller are the topics I also reviewed in this video. These will include Nvidia graphic quality setting changes you can make to your brightness, contrast, and digital vibrancy, tips on which color blind modes to choose from the available colorblind options (deteuranope, protanope, and tritanope) and other tips and tricks for more frames on both console and PC. On top of that, I talked about the secret changes Epic made to the graphic quality options in chapter 4 as well as what rendering mode is the best between performance mode (high and low meshes), DirectX 11 (DX11) and DirectX 12 (DX12). I tried to include as many tricks to boost your FPS as I could for both console (PS4 and Xbox One) and PC, mobile and switch, but I obviously could not fit everything into one video (some systems don't have them either like performance mode on PC). Definitely check out some of my other ultimate settings guides and FPS Boost tutorials in order to get more FPS and reduce input lag (make your game run smoother). Having auto confirm edit is actually better if you have it on both as you won’t be able to make that many optimal peeks with it on both, and not having this setting on can actually make you edit faster if you get used to it, and having it on both will just make it easier
FR I tried using auto reset and sometimes it wouldn't go in therefore having me in edit mode which gives that person a peek on me and i get killed. So i changed it back

I use Y, which is my bottom left paddle bro! But I open and close my build mode with X, which is what I only press whenever I edit with my pickaxe out

So when I change a depad button to edit then switch my left joystick to switch mode/ edit, it makes it so I have to hold left joystick to edit instead of instantly going to edit, do you know how to fix this?

With claw you can use most buttons to edit

A generic controller is a regular controller, a stock controller with no mods or paddles

I have 2 questions
1. What is your sprint bind
2. If I get a controller scroll wheel do I have to be playing pc with controller or will it work on my Xbox too
Scroll wheel does work on console (I use it) and also me personally I use back left paddle
I use right on d pad to tactical sprint. It means I'm kinda of switching between standard and claw with my left hand but I'm used to it
So since your on xbox controller, what do you sprint with ? Nobody ever makes a controller settings video using an xbox controller. Right on dpad seems like the only option to use sprint, since majority of people use L3 to edit on xbox controller.

guys just an fyi, for fun ive started learning controller yesterday. AND BRO, i dont get why people get paddles, i can already tripple edit just using double claw, its easy as and its free.

My problem is if I but my Analog stick to edit in build controls it switches in my combat controls and I can’t crouch or slide
I use left stick to edit, right stick to reset, right stick to crouch, and right on d pad to tactical sprint. I can't have the same button for sprint or edit, but can for reset and crouch

If you're going to do that you might have to sacrifice a bind you don't need in game like emoting, I use the same bind to sprint but I use emoting a lot so I'm not going to do it
