Thanks for the vid! I always appreciate your objective evaluation of your games and lists.
I've been playing a similar list and also ended up on 3 wisps. It has cool synergy, but it's also really valuable as a clock which I think is easy to forget sometimes.
Love the tech of guardian of faith, I honestly think I like that better than the flares which didn't seem to get a chance to show off this league. I'm not sure if flare is even very playeable in this list 🤷 but I do think it's very playable if you're on ajani
The Flares haven't looked very good in my testing, except against Wrath or the Skies decks. But it's not like they're bad, just that I haven't found matchups where it looks necessary. I've been told they're good enough against spot removal so I've been boarding them in more against those midrange matchups as I did in this league but I'm yet to see if they are good enough there
I'm surprised you've had so much success with the stoneforge package still. I've cut it entirely from my mono white list now and replaced it with ajani while leaving in leonin arbiter. I've had way more wins simply flipping ajani off them trying to answer leonin arbiter than i've had dropping in a kaldra.
Yeah as I said at the start it's the next card on the chopping block, but that league made Kaldra really shine, resolving it just makes some matchups so favoured for us.
But I am definitely going to test without it, Ajani is my number 1 contender for a replacement, and it would be great to test alongside Arbiter for sure!
@slaythedragonn What’s your decklist?
