- In this video I will turn a simple wooden trinket box from the craft store into a delightful work of art by creating a stunning water waves lid from epoxy resin.
In this video I explore the method of making a form foamex board and Sculpey modelling clay, which I then coat in glossy UV resin before creating a silicone mould.

I love this project and the way it turned out, it's gorgeous. I could see maybe adding a thin layer of opaque white underneath the blue to prevent being able to immediately see what's inside the box and to show off that gorgeous water effect, but I also love the way it looks without it so eh.

I've been trying to finish a large woodworking project that needs a waterfall like feature. I've been searching for exactly this kind of technique for months with no success. I guess tonight I just used the lucky search terms. This technique with some modification is going to serve me perfectly with some practice. Thanks for this video.

ooh, you could also do a multi layer resin thing where the bottom is like, a sandy color, and then you stick on some sand and some little figurines of ocean critters, and then cover that with the ocean blue resin!
