I'm definitely more of a fan of videos sitting at around the 45m-1hour mark, so this is great. Also, I don't see nearly as many playthroughs going late, usually ending around the 1550s on average. I'd love to see those later perspectives!
If you decide to do an Italy challenge. I have an idea for it that could be interesting. Start as milian (you in theory could start as any other Italian nation, But milian is the only nation in Italy that has any permanent bonus to anything that isn't a formable or has a formable that gives the same missions). You conquer Italy. You form Tuscany two sicilies and Sardinia-piedmont (it doesn't matter what order it's done). You complete all of there missions that give permanent bonuses/modifiers (this includes the diplomat from Tuscany). You form Italy after that (though it would be advised to get all claims you can from before forming Italy). Then you try to complete the Italian mission tree and fulfil the ambition of Italy (form rome). You can't use the hre (you can't be emperor of the hre. You can stay in as long as you need for any Italian nations that stay during the shadow kingdom, though you must leave after that). You can decide the national ideas you keep in the end (Milan doesn't have the best or worst national ideas. Tuscany has ideas that are best if you stay Catholic (which is your choice if you do). Two sicilies have good ideas for war and economy (and contain 10%ccr). Sardinia-piedmont has good ideas for war with 10%ccr and ae impact, but Italy is one of the few nations with 25%ccr in there ideas), you can exploit disasters if you want (you can decide the government from the Ambrosian republic disaster. Through if you decide to go theocracy and stayed monarchy then you could form two sicilies before the age of reformation and get a even chain that ends in 1 and a half years that makes you an Italian signoria with low republican tradition and if it's not to late you can form Tuscany for the bonfire of vanities so you can go theocracy for free, though remember that you could instead flip to theocracy at the cost of stab)
8:43 the reason you can take money but not war reps is bc the instant money is split between everyone based on war participation, while war reps only go to the main party of the war
In my Gotland game, I declared on Danzig, but despite the UI saying Poland won't join, the numbers even made sende it wasn't a visual glitch, they still did. Delayed my pirate Danzig by like a century.
This was more enjoyable than Bohemia. I dont know what that is about. Maybe the constant bank threats, maybe the debasing, or just shooting yourself in the foot by delaying reformation by quite a lot. I just dont know it, but I love it!
@@DayZilya It's the no dlc part. That is what makes it hard. You don't get monuments, age objectives disinherits, taking corruption exploiting dev, concentrating, nothing. Trade center upgrades trade companies expand infrastructure is also not there.
I can't believe ghere aren't more comments on how God same lucky you are in this game. Hell. Even the careful ruler?! Young pope?! Damn. Ive played for what must be over 2000 hours and have never gotten quite that lucky with ae.
I guess you need at least as much rivals as nations have rivaled you (max 3 ofc) if there are enough valid rivals which aren't you're allies. Maybe you can have an eye on it and confirm this.
