Hi Lazhar. Ah yes, Marc Riboud, such a good photgrapher. Don McCullin is another photographer who changed from conflict zones to shooting in the countryside when he moved out of London. The thumb rest you have on the GX80/GX85 is handy, however, it would stop me from using back button focus on mine. I like the place by the river where people were dancing together and the photos of tourists at the end taking photos ol their phone. Laters...
Hi again Colin, thank you so much for mentioning Don Mc Cullin as I'm preparing a video about the photographers who changed completely their work. Rodger, Salgado and Meyerowitz are some other ones. I don't count Cartier Bresson who turned to drawing 🙂
Once again, a pleasure to travel the city through your lens. I loved the Seine when I visited Paris years ago. And what a pity to see Notre Dame Cathedral in construction...
Thank you so much for your nice comment. Notre Dame should be back to what it was soon. I'm sure Macron would want to have it finished before the end of his term 🙂
Aye... You killing with that GX8... that shutter is peck silent... I love it. I just bought a the GX7... I only have one gripe about it... Loud shutter.
My favorite feature in the way you shoot is you legit keep moving. Are you using full manual or an a/e mode? For the solid shots with you moving your shutter looks like it's up to 1,000th a second.
12:10, I like the light on this one a lot. Not sure why I like it less in the one at 13:02. I would have to look at these more carefully to be able to tell you why. And there was a Marc Riboud exhibition? Darn! I missed that one...
Just for memory. I dont know if you have the authorisation In the case of an image taken in a public place, your authorization is necessary if you are isolated and recognizable. The image can be broadcast via the press, television, a website, a social network... In practice, the photographer/videographer must obtain your written consent before broadcasting your image.

Hi David, yes it's very silent. Perfect for street photography. Is there a silent mode on GX7 ?
@@lazhar_captures yeah... But if there's any movement... I'll get the jello effect

@@DavidGriffin it's above 1l250th...I use the iISO function to make sure there's a "decent" shutter speed for every shot 👍🏼🙂
@@lazhar_captures excellent man I appreciate your work

Hello Thomas, thanks for pitching in. Glad you like the pics. 🙏🏼🙂
Good photos man, but some shots needs color. For example shots at 9:30 and 15:00
Hi. Thanks for your comment. I totally agree 😊 Good thing it's in raw, I can come back to it later 👍🏼

Thanks for pointing this out. Which image are you referring to ?
Dude, what's the point of hitting the back? It's some kind of coward's camera syndrome. It's not a straight shot, it's bullshit.
What about I shoot the way I want to and you stop insulting people ?
@@lazhar_captures I realize the truth is not right for anyone. Then listen to the lies of others and settle for less. No negativity.
