You can see Peps mind ticking with Haaland positioning so far, he doesn't want him injured hence the lack of touches out of the final 3rd, he wants him in one zone only. The other ten have one job and Haaland has one job. They are a ten man team with a one man finisher at the end if the other ten dont open opponents up, genius, Opponents have to defend against two separate attacking options that take two different ways of opening you up. How do you work that out? Put 2 on Haaland the other 10 open you up, man mark the others and let Haaland open you up. Man City unstoppable for me now and we play them next away. i'll take anything other than a battering and move on.

Yeah it does become a big big problem doesn’t it. Thing is it sounds as though Peps not worked on anything with Haaland in terms of positioning and finishing. Obviously he’s had a talk with him about we need you in the box but I think haaland just understands that really what are we getting out of me dropping in for a pass? If I come to bounce I’m not in the box anyway. I’ll be intrigued to see how it goes against the big big teams though. I can see haaland being effective vs 90% of teams including champions league but it’s those 1/10 teams like Madrid or Liverpool in the league where you just wonder will he be able to figure them out.

Errrr clearly. Kane is a workman. Run of the mill decent solid player. Got lucky with fixtures and the erratic time of the league, takes a lot of penalties but no one sane will pick Kane over Shearer, Rooney, Henry and now Haaland.

I've never been declared medically insane an apart from Shearer I'd pick kane over anyone. He's not got lucky with fixtures and has scored less penalties then some of the players u named as supposedly better then him. He's scored goals year after year and has a better record then most of those u named at the same stages of there careers. He doesn't play for the biggest and best clubs out there that's the only genuine criticism which means he doesn't have the trophies which are team based. Individually tho he's a phenomenal striker.
