I just bought this combat shirt and I must say that I'm really impressed. The overall quality is outstanding and the shirt itself is comfy and really pleasant to wear. The reinforced elbows and forearms and the hole for the watch are really good ideas. Although its aim is to protect you from the cold, which means layers of isolation, your movements are not restricted at all, you remain as agile as if you would wear a simple t-shirt. The main goal of the shirt, keeping you warm enough, is successfully achieved. Meanwhile it is important to say that the cooling system under the armpits only works if the temperature is really low. I’ve just tried it at about 0°C and I was still feeling a bit too hot during the effort (or maybe I’m not enough sensitive to cold). The evacuation of the sweat on the forearms is surprisingly efficient, that’s why I would advise you not to store any paper in the forearms pockets, otherwise it will get wet. Another interesting fact is that the shirt itself is insulating enough so that you do not have to wear a jacket over it. There’s no problem with going out with only this shirt even if the temperature is way below 0°C. One last good argument for it: it’s made in Europe. That means quality, reliability and less CO2 emissions to get it to you.
I just bought the UF Pro Delta OL 3.0 jacket... It's perfect for winter weather. I wear it everytime in bad and cold weather conditions. I just wear it while mountainbiking at 3 degrees. It was perfect. Just when I got to warm in the jacket I quckly opened the side zippers and the temperature was perfect. When I stopped, I closed them again and the jacket was perfectly warm. Love it!

Wouldn't some padding feel good on the shoulders? When I was still serving I always put my hands between my vest and shoulders. Kept hands warm and took some weight off from the sore shoulders.
