Great bottle! Do you get that 'peppermint choc-chip ice cream' on the finish? :D I couldn't quite put it into words, and once someone said it I was like "YES! That's it exactly!"
Kilkerran is smoky of course. Though for some strange reasons, sometimes it is hardly noticible, other times it is nearly on the level of Talisker 10. Seems to me, that it mainly depends on the temperature. In a cold weather, the peat is not that strongly present. Anyways it makes this bottle even more interesting. It is really a powerful shapesifter and it tastes differently every time. Price/perfomance ratio wise it is up there for me with Ardbeg Ten.
hi thank you for the reviews question for the public, where can i get some decent Glencairn online, that can be engraved, and do not ask for a kidney XD?
@@QuinMighty Not intended for you. I would like to get the information without the noises. My comment can help this RUclipsr reach a wider audience. Hello Ben.........Thanks for stepping in to your father's footsteps. Nice review...........S'lainte
Great review, I’ve just ordered two bottles. A potential collector of the future. One to drink, one to shelve.

I love this Whisky and have been drinking it for the last 6 mnths. Looks like all their WIP's eventually paid off.
2:10 to 2:33- Well said Ben, Summarizes Kilkerran 12 *perfectly* 😁
Great review Ben,very informative, thank you
Wish you’d give it a mark out of 100. Would make your reviews more useful.
As I sip a dram of this nectar I get tobacco.. wow its just so damn good.
I will whisper this, it’s really cheap for the quality you are getting! 😝
No smoke then?
Game Czar nope, not that one.
Very, very, light aromatic smoke notes....mostly to compliment, not overwhelm. The more it oxidizes, the better it gets!

Very interresting, can you increase the volume of your voice and reduce (big time) the mouth tasting noises... not useful, and frankly annoying.
It's actually these stupid comments about mouth noises, that's annoying.
