「Atelier Ayesha」 13-B ~ "Keithgriff (Win Battle)"

Video 13 Event Boss
"Keithgriff (Win Battle)"
- First boss encountered (although it feels like there is a lot less bosses in this installment).
This is a scripted battle which you are suppose to lose to Keith because he got:
- tons of HP (500 HP)
- high resistance (about 75 for all resistance)
- high damage (can two shot you)
- high Status Resist (very hard to poison or slow)
- Special Attack available (you can't learn it till lv30 iirc).
BUT, as always, LL finds a way to win.. and here's the main keys:
- Protect Support: Supporter will survive ANY damage as long over 2+ HP.
- Back Attack: This will speed up damage
- Element Call: Wilbell's Support spell
{TACTICS}
- Make sure you have two separate groups surrounding Keith. Having Ayesha alone on one side, while Wilbell with Linca on the opposite side.
For Ayesha:
- If you have Poison Aqua, use it, it deals the most damage apparently (25 damage)
- Use "Concentration" whenever avaliable to help boost your turn (due to Speed Buff).
- Otherwise just attack and beat him down. Use any revive items or healing items to make sure everyone have over 2 HP and not dead.
For Linca:
- Protect Support on Wilbell from dying to Keith's Special
- Attack Keith otherwise
For Wilbell:
- Always keep "Element Call" active, this will help heal AND revive Ayesha if she dies.
- Protect Support on Linca from dying to Keith's Special
- Attack Keith otherwise
So as you can tell, everything I learned from the battle system (so far) was greatly taken advantage in this fight to win.
I just wish I had more Poison Aqua as I didn't know it would deal the most damage. I was hoping my Bomb and Ice Bomb will help in damage and do status effects (but that plan failed horribly lol).
Keith's Special "Ancient One" is so badass though.
Loved how when you're winning near the end the music change completely in your favor.

My memory might be wrong, but Keith was never really that malicious? Blunt, rude, sure, but I really enjoyed his conversations with Ayesha. He’s an interesting guy.

Hell no, Astrid is an emotionally abusive pedophilic molester who threatens to take Rorona away from her friends and family because she *apparently* still owes her money for helping her parents years ago, and then almost entirely saddles her with the burden of saving the workshop. Even if parts of what she does are intended to help Rorona grow as an alchemist, there is too much stuff that is clearly just Astrid being a malicious piece of shit or creeping on Rorona. Don't even get me fucking started on what she did to Rorona in Meruru.
Keith is an abrasive dick, but he is consistent about his stance on alchemy and people pursuing it. Looking at the state of the world in the Dusk series due to the effects of alchemy being abused in the past, his stance is understandable even if one disagrees with it.

My fight was going exactly like this one, until he started one shot my character with the "ancient one", and I had no items to deal with fainted party members. Good to know, if I won or not, it didn't matter anyways.
