One off the best Offroaddrives you could/can buy. In european forests, it`s because of it`s size unbeatable. A Samurai 413 NEVER DIES! Only corrosion..... I had 2 LandCuiser`s (BJ, FJ 40), 1 HZJ 70, 1 Volvo C303 (portalaxels!). Every one has his advanteges, but overall Samu rules. Where the others because of the bigger size had to go 4wd&reduction, you have to take only 2-3 meter for momentum and clear almost everything: No rocks, no crawling, diveing! Btw, Yours is imop not only one of the best, respect! Have fun, you deserve it, from switzerland
Loved the video, shows people what can be done to these amazing little vehicles, this one is superb, well done; a good few years ago l had a Suzuki SJ 413 LWB, it was pretty good but l could see several areas where it could be improved, l fitted slightly wider rims with 30" all terrain tyres, a 2" lift, front and rear ARB locking diffs, power steering, a heavy duty clutch, 6.5:1 low range transfer gears and a small front winch, these mods transformed its offroad performance but the engine was left stock, this supercharged Vitara engine would have taken it to another level, a friend had a SWB 413 with the same mods as mine but he fitted a VW 1.9 SDi engine into his and offroad it was better than all the Defenders, in standard form these 413s are good, modified they are as good if not better than anything out there. Would love to see more on this Vitara engine 413.
Very cool. I'm almost done building a G13B twin cam with an Eaton m45 on propane. I was curious about the recirculation valve and some people tried to tell me it wasn't necessary since my throttle body is before the supercharger. I believe without the valve, the supercharger will unnecessary heat air and add strain to the engine at idle.
1:34 now that's interesting, the hood release is in the glove compartment even on a RHD Samurai. The theory here in the states is the hood release is in the glove box because it was originally a RHD vehicle, now I know it's done just to be weird.
Lsi tracker with the 1420 cc sc14 supercharger ty for your vid gave me more confidence to just Put it in my the geo instead of my Honda work perfect raced a 2014 charger lost it in 3rd gear

i think that this samurai is the sj80 version with coils from the factory unfortunately this version never came in Greece so i have to deal with the bumpy ride of leafs haha
@@nikap211 I cant believe I am such a noob :)) It was morning and I didnt payed much attention when I left this comment. You are right, it's a Sj80 :)) This car is avaible in my country but many consider it very weak, the suspension and the front differential.
@@meisterraul i am following your chanel so you definately you are not a noob haha I know that it is weeker but i think it is better to have to deal with a bad differential and a bad gearbox than have a leaf spring samurai that needs a lot of money to coil it... The real problem with the sj80 is that there isnt a lot part available and the front suspension it isnt like a jimny so that a big problem
@@nikap211 Thanks :) Use my setup and you will see springs aren't so bad. Yj springs on the back and rear samurai springs on the front. This is the best combination for a Samurai

They do look comfortable! I might be doing a run to Fraser Island with some mates later in the year, assuming this lockdown is eased, and am dreading the 1200km drive there in the current seat. lol
Never had it on the dyno. The lack of electronic timing control at the time kept it back. The instant torque and driveability made it excellent. Looking at supercharging another 4x4 in die future.
It's difficult to say as I never drove with the stock cam setup. I did swap out the charger and custom intake to stock once when I attended some leaks. It was dead slow with the stock carbie and no boost
1 more: in switzerland they pay unbelievable prices for this cars. They slow them down 40/60 km/h; you can drive them at age 16 (60km/h), without licens 40km/h. Pricerange more than 12k SFR aprox. 13-14k$ for good one!
They're not the safest vehicles to drive on the road so it's probably for the best. My Zook can now cruise at 120-140 without much effort but it's still pretty dangerous if something goes wrong

Nice! How much boost pressure did it run at with the stock pulley? I had to bleed boost as it would run 13psi + and kept detonating in the dunes.
About 12 psi I got a bov it’s set up like a turbo an I use 89 gas an if 87 I add octane boost

Bright red bucket seats, not the best looking but they're quite comfy on trails. If I'd replace them I would go for Suzuki Swift Sport seats

The butt dyno says double the standard power😃 The biggest difference was the insane amount of torque it made compared to the factory setup.
