Join Big Brothers/Big Sisters and become a big for a boy who doesn't have a role model in their life. There is a HUGE need and the commitment isn't overwhelming either. You would both benefit from it.

Granted I don’t know everything about you, but from what I’ve seen, you are an incredible person Joe. You may not be a dad, but there are 17 children I know of that probably consider you their second dad. You’re doing great my friend. Keep your head up.

I enjoy watching all of the Crazy channels. I don't comment often, but I want to tell you the haters are going to be negative because their lives are so unhappy and they cannot stand it when they see someone enjoying life. Live your life for you and keep smiling. God has a plan for you and I'm sure it will be great.

Focus on all the wonderful things that makes you the Joe that you are! There is no other like you Joe!
Rest in knowing that you are a great person! I like you and you should really be proud of the man God has created you to be which is a man called JOE. Be you!
I also deal with anxiety but I try and focus on the things I like about myself when I get down and God helps me through every single time! I’ll be praying for you🙏

Aaron, you’ve done a great job finding joy and contentment in a time when anxiety and depression is at the helm. I was so impressed with how well you were dealing with your mom’s prognosis. But no matter how much you prepare yourself for that ultimate heartbreak of losing a parent you’re close to, the moment it happens it’s devastating. You just want them back no matter what condition they were in when they passed, even when you know they’re in a better place. Sitting with your grief is the only way through, and it looks like you’re doing a good job working through it. My thoughts are with you…

Friends are such a blessing. Taking your Best Friend out on a a ride was so what Aaron needed and needs. Talk about Carol. Tearing 🥲up for you all, just knowing you are grieving.
For 3 months straight, I didn’t wear mascara🥲. Out of no where they are on your mind and you just start crying I too, lost a parent. My Dad gained his angel wings in September 2023. I miss you Dad and I love you! 😘 Love,
    Your Baby Girl.
Keep busy and when you think of a loved one who has passed away, say hi out loud to them. They have been such a huge part of your life, why have it stop.
    Hugs

Joe I love your realness. So many of us can relate to so many of the things you speak on. As always I loved the video and seeing y’all have fun out there. You would be an amazing parent or even step parent. Seeing you on the CP channel and interacting with the kids just proves how lucky a kid/teen or even young adult would be to have you in their lives. Dating in the Valley is hard. But not impossible. Just gotta weed out the… let’s say “unique” ones to find that special someone to compliment you and your life and you in theirs.

So many people see themselves as a "less than." The reality is that others see you very differently and admire so many traits. The same is true of you, Joe. You do a great job on these videos and always have. You present yourself very well . . . funny, loving, helpful to everyone, handsome,. Take the compliments and really hear them, Joe. Sharing your thoughts is so attractive, really. You need to ease up on yourself. You are seen as so valuable to so many. Do not let the naysayers capture so much of your attention, Easier said than done, I know. As a matter of fact, I do think reading all comments is very bad for your mental health. I cannot imagine putting myself out there and then being judged by someone who you will never know, yet they are so brave behind the internet wall. Your life has to be impacted by the fact you are seen by so many. There are lots of "crazies" (yes, really!) out there and so many of them want to bolster themselves by putting others down. You are a very valuable part of our world, Joe. You truly are.

Joe I have learned that you can’t be to hard on yourself. I’m a single parent to my kids. And I constantly feel like I have to be perfect for my kids in the absence of their father. I have learned that kids are very forgiving and understanding. They say there is someone out there for everyone. At least that’s what I have always been told. You are a great guy and seem like a great catch. Positive vibes always. From single adult to another. Be careful with the dating seen. Pretty scary out there now days. Prayers to all the family during their time of loss. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 You are a one of a kind friend.

Please consider trying to find a “float” center or sensory deprivation tanks. I suggested it to Hallie also. Basically you are in an 8-10” deep pool of water that has been saturated with Epsom salts. That saturation means that you automatically float, no effort. You can be in the tank in total darkness and silence, but it’s not necessary, most have ambient lighting and meditative music. It can help you get to a meditative state, I actually fell asleep! The magnesium in the Epsom salts is great for muscle recovery so a lot of sports teams use them. But a bonus of the magnesium is that it helps with depression and anxiety. Many studies!
Depression and anxiety are not just from feelings and thoughts. We have to realize that to keep our brains working well, we need to nourish it correctly. Most doctors go right to the big stuff and crazy tests, then prescribe pills that mask the symptoms, but don’t get to the root cause, and usually make things worse down the road. The basic building blocks, or lack of, to our bodies are usually the cause of most health issues.
Another good thing to do is taking a walk barefoot. “Grounding” - check it out. 😊

Thinking about people with PTSD, the expected outcome is not that it will completely go away. The reasonable expectation would be to manage when it raises its ugly head. I have tried to apply this principle to dealing with depression/anxiety. For all of these issues, management is the reasonable goal. A person can create stress when working toward unreasonable goals.

JOE, I was just wondering how you feel about living alone? Does it get lonely and causes anxiety? I am a widow lost my husband before he turned 30. I have been alone for a while now. It seems when I sit alone I get so much into my thoughts that it sometimes causes me to have this anxiety. How do you pull through it? Still working on this myself and suggestions would help. Aaron, sorry for your loss. I know she was a great mother because she raised a great son! She is in peace PRAYERS!

Ya anxiety is tough i have bad anxiety driving i the city.. towns are okay but the city with like 4 lanes both ways and sky trains ya nope.
It was -42c where i live and we were on power watch they were talking about rotating power for the whole province. We were asked to unplug vehicle and only use what is totally necessary.. I'll take your weather forsure lol. Our road side company were backed up i heard 18hr wait for help but most of those were dead batteries. Thank goodness my vehicle started because i couldn't find my block heater plug.

There is no such thing as the perfect parent. But there is the just right parent. You will be just right. I remember a quote " if God couldn't get Adam and Eve to listen to Him, what chance do we have " 😂. Wish you luck finding someone soon.
Aaron take as long as you need. ❤

Hi Joe, can you explain further how you’re working on the anxiety thing from the quote. I also suffer from anxiety and I’m open to suggestions. Thank you

Great question Debbie. I'll try to cover it in more depth soon, but in a nutshell a big thing for me was learning to accept my anxiety and not fighting it. When I learned to recognize it, accept it and actually allow it, instead of fight it and in essence fight myself for even having it, I have learned to exist with it. In failing to control it I was allowing it to control me in an ever expanding downward spiral. In allowing it a space, albeit a small one, I have been able to expend my efforts to once again begin to take control of my own life. It's not gone, it's just not the controlling force it was.

I hear on the anxiety. The weather here in Washington State hasn't been helping.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you with divorce, wanting kids, etc. I have 1 child with my ex, she is special needs so i still feel like when I'm old, after my parents pass, I'll be so alone.... i know i need to build a community around me but that is easier said than done.

I had to giggle a lil cause you guys said it 40 and here in Colorado we go to -10. Also with anxiety I get it a lot there these breathing necklaces you can get it helps also like this nasal thing you can smell works good also I suffer from insomnia so melatonin doesn’t put me to sleep but I noticed if I take it it helps calm me down. Again I have insomnia so it doesn’t put me to sleep I take a prescription for sleep. Hugs to you!

Joe instead of waiting until you find the one, have you thought about adopting or fostering on your own?
