A great tour of a city I bmvisited during acl fest 2018 I loved your tour. Felt like going there again. You really should show off street names like Diamond Trail. Like who wouldn't want to live on that? Probably the best little street in Texas
People in Lago Vista generally do not want a bridge because it would ruin the town's secluded natural setting with lots of people trouncing through. The lake makes a great natural barrier to insulate Lago Vista somewhat from Austin's massive growth.
False info, you posted Last official estimated population of Lago Vista city (Travis County**, Texas state) was 6,478 (year 2014)[1]. This was 0.002% of total US population and 0.02% of total Texas state population. Area of Lago Vista city is 15.2 mi² (=39.2 km²)[6], in this year population density was 427.56 p/mi². If population growth rate would be same as in period 2010-2014 (+1.76%/yr), Lago Vista city population in 2023 would be 7,580*.
It takes me 50 minutes to drive to the Pennybacker/Loop 360 bridge over Lake Austin, on Sunday mornings with "no" traffic or construction issues. It takes me a minimum of 1 hour 20 minutes to get to far South Austin on I-35 (near Buda). Sometimes it takes me 2 hours to get there. 20 minutes from my house in Lago Vista to Cedar Park to go to HEB. I don't know how long it takes to get to downtown Austin as I rarely go there. If I have a choice of driving into Austin or going to Marble Falls for something, I go to Marble Falls because it is just 30 miles and is an incredibly beautiful drive.
I was there last night. It looks nothing like that. The carpets are dirty, there are cum stains on all the sheets and blankets, the room stinks like wet carpet and it needs to be steam cleaned and shampoo. The kitchen looks like crap. The cabinets are loose and the counter is the cutting board. One of the bedrooms had no lights. BR was super dirty… not cool.
@@LivinginAustinTexas512 yeah. I had a reservation for a whole week. I was only in the room for about 10 mins. I wasn’t going to put my wife and friends through that. Speaking of which they were bummed out flying in from out of town.

Drove the long way around Lago Vista to Marble Falls. Wish there was a bridge across lake.

Commuting would suck. There is only country roads until the Main drag!
I’m a realtor here. And we’ve seen sooo many ppl move here. Our sign used to say 3k ppl now it says 30k!
Wow! Over how long of a time span?

thank you! Is it typically an hour to Austin with traffic?
It can be. Some of it depends on what part of Austin you are driving to. Could be longer if you’re going to South Austin.

We moved out here and built a house with land for $179k. Its worth $375k ,now.
That's awesome!
Can you give me more details on this? I would like to know if you built the house by yourself, or it was by a builder?

Yikes! Sounds like a lot has changed over the last year.
