By going with 5 40 VA transformers still only considered class two wiring. Safe in that it produces such a small spark would mostly likely never start a fire. Electrical room.to dangerous in that it appears that you do not have the NEC required 36" of clearance from front edge to other side of very narrow room.
The room looks like it has 36" clearance if the storage cabinets weren't parked in front of the switch gear 😅. Nobody respects the electrical room. I've opened the door to electrical rooms that literally look like storage closets and you have to move a pickup truck worth of crap to even get to a panel.
@chrisphone74 we would post notes that all electrical closets & rooms can not be used for storage and items placed there will be thrown out. After we throw away some 4 by 8' by 5/8" sheetrock, 2 by 4's, paint etc contractors stopped storing stuff there. Best was while working at a company that popped pop corn every Friday from noon till midnight. Had a skid if pop corn kernels & oil stored in main switchgear rooms. Fire marshall had a fit. Told them they have 5 minutes to find it another home.
