But why does white boy sent chills up and down my spine and I here walking through 125th Street in Lexington and I see exactly what he's singing about literally live
black music? If you are talking about soul/funk you are wrong, or have been visiting the wrong places in Europe. Im not saying it will ever be as big as in the USA, but still xD Since when is one type of music related to the colour of people skin though. Thought it was 2019 xD
@@Linogewillkillallofy The creation of funk music came from African Americans in the late 50s. Along with rock, blues, hip hop, and other soul music genere. We appreciate Europe admiration towards black amazing music.
So? America 's slavery was created by African tribes as well, and yet white Americans get the blame. Stupid logic, but its just the same as yours. Music doesnt have color. Its a shame you dont seem too be able too look past that. You will miss out on alot of great things that go on.
Back 3 years later and blown away by this cover again 🔥 A cover can never be better than the original, but that’s about as close as it can possibly get right there. DJ said it best at the end… ”un-fuckin-believable-wow”
Magnificently revisited and interpreted, an impeccable sound, with accuracy without making crashes, the emotion is restored, the feeling too. This young team cheeky to tackle this mythical piece of the seventies and timeless, has nothing to be ashamed of. from Grandmaster Bobby Womack Bravo!
Daaaaammmmmnnn... Thats one sweet cover of a Bobbie Womack classic & they say real music is dead... Technically there just aren't anything anywhere near the talent from solo acts to bands from back in the day when the Music Industry was alive & though one of thr toughest businesses to be in it delivered millions of amazing solo acts & bands from all around the world over so many decades & lets be honest we never thought it would end as music was part of yiur every day life & yiu lived & died by it but now all we all is Tv Talent Shows that only have 1 Hit Wonders, if that... Its not to say that the person that won wasn't deserving of it & shouldve gitten more but people dont want music manufactured & sold to them by those sitting on these Talent Panels... Sure we haf the exact same equivalent as these talent shows in the 70s & 80s but onyy so many actually made it for a while but no this is predominately the way people look to get there music dekivered ti them & they either just dont know or csre about the treasures that await them from the music of our past & sometimes as it was back then yiu have to go back sometimes to go forward & i still think im going to wake up & we've still got all these amazing acts & solo bands but unfortunately theres only a handful spread thinly across the world... I knoe the reasons behind the music eventually crashing & noy being financially viable but it diesnt help that for decades now too many generstions of youngsters would rather sit in front of a Tv playing games & theres nothing wrong with this as long as its done in moderation but when i heard the Gaming Industry had cracked a way for gamer's to play for 8 to 12 hours straight while online & i couldn't believe what i was hearing as where is this & the next generations real life & real interaction with actual human beings if your stuck in your room for 8 to 12 hours a day playing these games... Im not against gaming as ive been a ongoing constant gamer since the Atari 2600 & all the way up til now but i still knew to put the pad down & hace an actual life as these games consoles are supposed to be enjoyed a time fillers for a certain amount of time but nit all day & its been a combination of factors within the music industry that so it fall but we coukd still have a lot more talented solo acts & bands now if people were not jacked into the matrix of modern gadgets 24/7 & the sad reality is im having to use one of these modern gadgets to get thus message across as no one speaks too other face to face if they van help it & they could be living just round the corner from one another yey theyd rather chat via Facebook/Twittter & all these other social media sites than get up & visit someone physically & chat... Thats why when i see someone in a covers band or for hire wedding or function bad im happy that someine is keeping music alive & in the way it was supposed to be enjoyed the most & that was going tl see solo acts & bands live as that was better than listening to the singles & being a group of people all singing & dancing to the same lyrics at a Live gig is still my nirvana... And to repeat what another psrson commentated id pay to see this band Live as they clearly have talent tk play other peoples music which is great but id also liked tp hear what their music was like & what it had to say but thats not a lucrative business anymore & why more & more musicians get together & become covers band's... Hey im not complaining as at least i was there & participated & have to many great memories of seeing these solo acts & bands & i played in 2 bands also & if they only knew what it feels like to perform in front of an audience theyd soon get their priorities straight & still have time to do many other things... Here's to music in all its styles & genres & to those who gifted use with their talent & i Thank All Of You for the many Great Memories & the Music that keeps me going forward every single day as music can transcend past language/cultural/political & religious barriers & thats what made it even.more special as it brought people from all over the world together & to those that say its the same with gaming i respectfully say to you that you haven't lived your life as you'd know the difference but Each To Their Own... In light of this still ongoing coronavirus outbreak stay safe and healthy wherever you are in this world & i hope that you have that same love for music to get you through each day while we try & deal with this Covid-19... Now that was some thing else, sounded like Bobby Womack, brilliant well done Dutch band Di-rect.
It's amazing what you can find on RUclips. I didn't know that the Dutch can bring the soul like this. They crush it.
