Fun fact, cut content from LN: After Lemon gets dragged away, Sosuke aproaches Nuku and they chat about Lemon's outfit, he ask Nuku how did it look since he couldn't see it.
Anna and Karen drag Sosuke away planning to scold him and before leaving Anna glares at Nuku saying "we will talk later".
Don't forget Nukumizu's comment to Sosuke, “Honestly- my eyes have been blessed.”

Yanami calling for help can also be development for Nukumizu, not just Komari.
Although our boy is willing to share people’s burdens, he’s also similar to Komari in how they want to do things themselves. Compared to the first four episodes, Nukumizu is no longer alone and has friends and people to rely on as well.
It goes to show that all of the characters in one way or another are always developing throughout the story and it’s so great.
It is so weird Nukumizu has no friends before meeting the girls. He is a very straightforward likable character, he just like reading weird sister novel, I do too and I have lots of friends 😅

His problem is that he doesn't see _himself_ as someone who can have friends, but he's been a casual acquaintance to pretty much his whole class the entire time.
Everyone considers him an easy-to-talk-to friend, but respects his apparent desire to be alone with his novels.
Nukumizu is like Ryo from Bocchi the Rock, but doesn't realize it. He's a Loner who believes himself to be Lonely. Another analogy that fits Nukumizu is that sleepy baseball kid from Meet the Robinsons who thought everyone hated him, despite everyone being excited to see him.

Komari siblings are so cute especially her little sister shy and cute. Nikumizu was really lucky in this episode he got some food from Anna which really surprising like a miracle and the squeeze 😋.
She ends up eating the rest of it anyway, so he technically only got half of it.

Her confession about not being with her senpais made me almost tear up. Really good episode!
The series has done a good job balancing out the cast so far. So when the group came together to help Nukumizu out, it felt earned since we got an adequate amount of screentime with those characters prior.
This has been my anime of the season since the first episode, and while there's some strong competitors it has remained comfortably on top.
@@djthomp yes!! I checked this season what will be a good anime and found this on trailers. And man I'm not disappointed after the 1st episode, this animation and funny scenes with good storytelling. Others went to alya or oshi no ko or that deer Nope Makeine will be my top. Also after 2 and 3 episodes they still maintain the animation you know that the studio has love for this anime and they know it will be a success.
i agreed that the male character is well writing compare to other on this sort of rom com. I mean they give him quirks for example the water thing. plus we know he must not had a lot of friend that his sister worry about him. we can guess he not a good cook cause all the cooking was done by his sister. We know he is kind and considerate. What we dont know if he falling for any of these girls but we know he care enough to deal with there break up without too much complaint.
I love this anime so much, I need a sequel but since yesterday. The characters, the story, the development, the art style, everything is amazing.
I didn't want this episode to end... now I have to wait an entire week... damm

Komari is the most sane heroine in this series.
I loved this episode, especially when Nuk-kun's sister got to see him with his friends (finally)! But everything was just fantastic!
Also, this is another episode where I blinked and it was over.

loved the evangelion reference in the videos title and loved the episode so much too, this is my anime of the season and a really reaaaaaally strong contender for anime of the year, like you said, the writing is amazing, every single character is fun to watch and their interactions have so much emotion, the animation and music helps a lot too but the writing is just spot on, 3 episodes left and i can already see the void i will feel when this ends, if im not wrong the novel has 6 or 7 volumes (still going) and the anime will cover the first 3 so technically there is enough material but we wont see the end of the story any time soon
edit: completly forgot about Nukumizu, together with Rentarou he is one of my favorites romcom MC ever

I really love this anime, like it just feels really special. like i dont normally laugh at Love is war type show but i liked it, this i find myself laughing when supposed to.. not even sure if its the characters, art but it seems everything has sucked me in that i feel for this show.

man i gave a try to this anime but the friendzoned main character is not for me but i guess the its realistic enough because the highschool is the time when most of us guys make that error
