@@pttrn I don't think I meant to comment this on this video, I think it was on autoplay while I was in the middle of leaving a comment on a video about Phillip jeck. Sorry for the confusion
You can get a pretty good sense of the pedals he uses, but the way he routes everything into/out of that mixer to achieve those sounds is where the wheels fall off for me.
@@Tom94Bunn As someone above noted a Boomerang looper is definitely a big part of it. At least one EHX 16-Second Delay, a Holy Grail variant (this looks like a Plus), ZVex Mastotron. Then there are other effects that seem to be swapped in and out - some kind of ring modulation, EHX Superego, Digitech Whammy, etc. There's also a frequency/tone generator on there that I can't find any more information about anywhere
The rotating speaker and that Ampeg bass amp would make the whole room shake. I've liked Oren Ambarchi since I was a kid. I've always loved drone.
Amazing!
well, as can be expected from oren, that was fucking amazing...
Finest dronemeister in showbiz.

His hoodie reminds me the cellular automata patterns. So cool!
...and that hoodie is awesome. I want one like that. hah
I love this. While, I truly enjoy my 3rd leg, sometimes you just wish for a 3rd arm.
❤❤❤
The silence of the last part is really amazing
Love it!!
Rest in peace, what an incredible sound designer
He ain’t dead

Does anyone have any idea what's the set up he uses in this video?

this is much more the aligned dissonance i expect from artist concerts. lets now paint largely in our imaginary selves....
