Mario Kart 7 - Anti Piracy Screen (April Fools)

- An anti-piracy screen has been discovered for Mario Kart 7. It only triggers if some yet unknown internal files are tampered with. Looks like the game developers messed up the implementation and this screen can never be triggered, but a CTGP-7 update accidentally did it...
Well, not really, this is a just a fan made anti-piracy sequence present in CTGP-7 that shows up if your 3DS date is set to April 1st.

Just to be clear CTGP 7 is not a pirated game it is a plug-in you need mk7 to run it
I downloaded CTGP 7 v0.0.0 and my 3ds showed a piracy error. My 3ds is now bricked. Don't download!
Same for me, I have 20 cop cars infront of my door because of piracy. I have just hidden all my money.

It was my first time getting trolled by this. I turned my device off as soon as the sounds started playing. If I had gotten to that part with the blue screen, I‘d probably have witnessed a mental breakdown

Dude this happened to me and i was scared. So i turned it off even tho i know damn well i have a cartridge of MK7 in my 3ds LOL. went to search it up to see what happens if you continue using it and i find out its an april fools joke smh lollll

he opened a custom firmware menu at the end see how he press the power button and start. the 3ds is fine. CTGP 7 can't run a system format

No mms a mí me pasó eso, ayer estaba jugando CTGP-7 por la noche y me pasó exactamente igual. Me asusté un chingo y reinicié la consola como decía eso y ya no volvió a aparecer. Hasta ahora me vengo enterando que... Era por día de los inocentes
