Its so off. I understand changing up the Lexus and Supra since there's no Toyota, but I would've at least used the Impreza WRX in place of the IS300, and maybe the R32 or R34 for the Supra. And Bull seems like he'd fit the AMG GT more than a McLaren (though he drives a SLR McLaren). Another questionable choice is Ming in a Murcielago, put him in the Huracan instead. Only right car choices were Baron in the Cayman, Jewels in the Mustang, and Kaze in the C63. Webster in a C8 is cool, though there's a C6 and C7 in the game too. Criterion really fumbled this one.
Yeah, you're right, the only way you can "justify" that maybe can be like "ok, player get all or a big parts of those cars and they replace it with others" but isn't like this for Razor, for Razor the M3 was like a "obsection" and he try it to rebuild it but you know, imagine being locked in prison for so much times and after you try to replace that storic M3 with another one, but you know... isn't the same and maybe isn't the same feeling. This is how i justify too the "kinda broken" M3 in the lockup, and Razor have his age too so i think he just leave it there and let the player "continue his legacy". And actually we need to remember too he say to player in one mission in single player to take the OG M3, so maybe he take it back the OG one and leave it that old one to the players.

I actually like some of these new iterations. I love MW to death but I believe the community does an amazing job with the wraps for the blacklist cars. I’m just glad the devs are starting to recognize our love for this game and give it some additional life, it’s not perfect but some of the new wraps on different cars is kinda cool.
JV's viper and the livery that came with it was my absolute favorite of the blacklist cars. And here we get just a plain green Ferrari with Joe Vega's name slapped on the side. Damn.
Even if they wanted to EA would not be able to add back the old cars from most wanted. Especially when some brands like Toyota not wanting to be affiliated with street racing.

That thing with not wanting street racing had been debunked a long time ago.
The team working on unbound consist from only 10 ppl. Compare that to the somewhat 250 working on fh5 and you really start to appreciate what you are getting
There’s some cars I think they did right, Vic’s car for example, Toyota is no longer involved with NFS, so the 350Z is a good alternative to the Supra, but some changes like Sonny’s Golf, Izzy’s RX8, Earl’s Evo, JV’s Viper and Ronnie’s DB9 could have had other alternatives that are more faithful to their original cars.
Webster's version of the Corvette is present in the game too but at least the one they went with is a newer Corvette rather than random Nissan GTR's being thrown in.
@ That’s what I mean, Bull’s car was also a good alternative to his SLR, as that was a Mercedes McLaren, and the 600LT is also a McLaren, and a newer and better version too
@ Not to mention Izzy’s RX8 turned into a GTR and Earl’s Evo turned into a GT3, in Izzy’s case they could have easily gone for the RX8 that’s in the game or the RX7 if they wanted to make a change but also respecting the essence of the original car, and in Earl’s case they could have used either of the two Evos in the game.

Literally only Jewels and I’ll give the nod to Kaze (even it’s a ragtop) were done right. Barron and Webster are close. But would’ve preferred hardtop Gt4 and the C6.
Fun fact: the demo version's blacklist included all canon cars except for the TAZ and the Baron. The TAZ had a BMW 330 ci instead of a Lexus, and the Baron had a Porsche Cayman (apparently they were planning to continue racing SUV cars)
TBH, the Player (the main protagonist of NFSMW) had to recreate all of the Blacklist cars after the original ones were seized by the Rockport Police Department however he was managed to get his BMW M3 GTR back after it was stolen by Lieutenant Frank Mercer and repaired it.

These Blacklist cars are actually the League wrapping up their cars to pay tribute to the previous Blacklist. Criterion just explained about this on their website. I think it’s reasonable.
My interpretation is that the new cars that got the original liveries still once belonged to the original blacklist racers, they just got purchased by them and put that way, then they lost them. [this all happening between most wanted and unbound] And the M3 GTR being in a state of disarray, being covered in dust, like it has been sitting there ever since it got hauled out of Carbon Canyon all those years ago… Now as to why the M3 GTR appears in the lockups? Easy. The story mode of unbound and the multiplayer lore take place maybe 5 years apart. Give or take a couple months.

In og MW, the car models of Blacklist #15, #12, #9, #4 and #3 are in Unbound. Not the actual car models but the modern derivatives, but they were changed to the cars shown here, so it doesn't makes sense. If #12 had an RX-8 and the car is the game, why change it to a GT-R?

You have to have the challenge completed for the base car, if you extract Izzy's gtr but can't use it, unlock the base Nissan GTR and you should be able to use Izzy's

While the confusion of the nostalgia-baited kids is laughable, I agree with them to an extent. This update could've given us a FULL-BODY WRAP editor where we can move entire wraps and not individual vinyl. So while we have these blacklist wraps on "WRONG" cars, we can have them ported on "CORRECT" cars with ease.
It's extremely buggy right now and the cops after heat 4 are insanely op, 3 hits at 30mph and you're death, especially the chevy camaro undercover cop car, it's a freaking rhino

While the confusion of the nostalgia-baited kids is laughable, I agree with them to an extent. This update could've given us a FULL-BODY WRAP editor where we can move entire wraps and not individual vinyl. So while we have these blacklist wraps on "WRONG" cars, we can have them ported on "CORRECT" cars with ease.
The game is good, but the songs are horrible, I prefer to mute them and listen to Spotify 😅
