We're all gonna be such smart scientists following your channel. JK has always expressed himself that he's not so good with words, although I totally disagree, I understand his shyness. Specially when he was so young at the time. Nowadays he seems much more comfortable with speeching, and he prepares for them well. As long as he gets some time to think about it or prepare in advance, I think he has the most amazing words for Army, (like in letters he wrote during Bon Voyage or other projects and at the ending-ments at concerts). Also I'm amused at how witty he is during his insta-stories. He makes me laugh all the time, and he doesn't come across as shy at all. JK has matured a lot, and still has the intention of learning better English to lift some weight off RM's shoulders. But in this video, he's so shy and cute... a real mood.

When they make speeches for army during concerts or mon vlive, they dont really get shy. The context of the speech is quite different and the speech after receiving an award is a bit pressurinf than their usual sweet and genuine messages for army.
He was that person🥺 but now😌 he's literally speak in every chance possible, he even prepares speeches in english to say instead of korean & he doesn't have to, it feels like he tries to make up for his shy days😂 these past 2 years JK has been on fire🔥I'm in luv with the grown up version that he's turned into😻he's become so confidant & comfortable with who he is & What he wants💜💜💜
Poor Joon, he just wants all the members to take turns speaking, it takes the pressure off the ones who always have to do it, plus it shows the public that they are all equal, and no one is being squashed…But poor Jungkook just hates it so much, and I think him avoiding the mic and Joon became a game, kinda like Jimin running away from Joon in Ampanman. It’s so strange, Jk isn’t shy at all with Army on VLive, yet at award shows…🤷♂️😂 He is perfectly capable of course, and he does it more happily nowadays, but I don’t think he loves it even now…

That’s all I meant 🙏🙏 I think the formality of award shows and speeches, with all eyes on him, possibly judging (it’s not only Army watching, but also people who might not like BTS), makes him a little awkward, but when he is doing what he loves - performing, or talking with beloved Army - he isn’t shy, he is a confident man 🤷♂️💜💜 since he turned 20 (or there abouts), he grew up. Jungkook didn't appear he was in the ceremony and performed but he had back pain at that time I heard he had doctor with him backstage in one of the award shows that year it got even worse that he nearly collapsed and had bodyguards walk him to backstage

He can't make eye contact with anyone and will look down when female artists walks by. He mentioned that he is not good with words. Now, he is more confident to speak up more in American music awards because he practices his speech beforehand ^^
I think in most groups everyone wants to be the one up front speaking… not our guys nope they all avoid it but some more than others and JK leads in avoiding it, Suga also avoids but will do it. Between his huge shyness and he used to have a more noticeable occasional stutter in his teen years it makes sense. He’s got stage presence for days but he took a long time to even open up to BTS, when Tae joined he helped him come out of his shell (under stable the other guys were 3 to 5 years older than JK till first Tae who is only 2 years older and had younger siblings so really knew how to draw jk out). But to this day he avoids it and finally he gets up to talk at AMAs for artist of the year and he’s so nervous and having trouble getting the words out in English Tae had Jin drag him away from the mic. Our poor JK. And the BTS pass the mic game will never not be hilarious. They’ve won hundreds of awards (over 400?) so it’s been a lot of this.
Jk was the only one besides namjoon who did a full long speech in English at the AMAs. The others spoke in Korean or a few fragments in english. Jk was speaking in complete sentences. Also he has spoken at a lot of award shows plus their concerts, so the stutter is irrelevant. He is shy but he said he doesnt feel like he's good at expressing himself with words. That's all
