At Powerflex, we have always had a passion for the BMW and Mini marques, producing a wide variety of products to complement, maintain and modify.
Typically, this has been in the form of our polyurethane suspension bushes, but with our in-house engineering capabilities and well-equipped CNC machining facility, we are able to diversify and look at other areas of the vehicle that might need improvement.
The factory plastic clutch fork pivot pins (and even some aftermarket bronze/brass ones) are known to squeak, wear excessively and even break when used with high-pressure performance clutches, and so this week we are introducing a range of precision CNC-machined 303-grade stainless steel clutch fork pivot pins to fit a wide variety of BMW and Mini models with manual transmission.

This pivot pin is located inside the gearbox and acts as an anchoring point for the clutch release fork. Due to the labour involved in removing the gearbox, replacement of the pin would be recommended when carrying out a clutch change for improved durability and peace of mind.
