Hi, thank you for watching. Spatula by Issei is a great lure. In this video, I couple it with a Split Shot rig fishing for Largies. Hope you enjoy the video.
Another awesome video, you don’t have to catch a lot of fish to have an interesting video, sometimes the trial and figuring out where the fish are and explaining why is much more interesting, thank you sir!
I use a splitshot rig quite a bit. Its probably one of the few techniques besides drop shot where i have landed over 10,000+ fish on. Floating stuff only i will say. If it sinks and there are trout they wont pick it off the bottom like a bass will.
What's the difference between the split shot rig compared to the Carolina rig? Do we need the split shot to be heavier than the lure or just equal weight? Nice technique. Great video btw.

If it's trout fishing using a trout bait ball, I'll rig a C-rig.
I've been using a Carolina rig recently but I still have not caught a bass on it. I don't think I'd ever even try it for trout. @@AnglerWaki

It's simpler than the Carolina rig. You can use any weight based on what you need.
@@AnglerWaki thanks for answering my questions.
