    An in-depth review and benchmark of the ALLPOWERS R600 power station.
    This power station has very good efficiency over all outputs, the test includes the ALLPOWERS 100W solar panel which is sold separately, but the two make a great combo.
    Features:
    299Wh LiFePo4 battery with optimized charging.
    Charges in about one hour and thirty minutes.
    80% efficiency over a charge-discharge cycle on USB-C, 79% on AC(220V)
    Wide voltage range (12-60V) MPPT DC charging input.

    Thank you for the review Dirk.

    The 2-60v input is amazing! it means you can buy some of the used outdoor panels for really cheap that have 30-40v range. Most at this size only go to 24v input

    Good, you did it in a smart way (90% of the reviews on those devices on youtube are useless).. ! Efficiency is pretty good 280/340 = 82% efficiency, that include the round trip of the lifepo4 (2-5% loss), the dc-dc conversion (Battery voltage => USB-C voltage, maybe 5-10% loses) and finally the energy neede to control the device (bluetooth, display, BMS = a fixed 5W i would say)
    This is a nice small device, i would have like it with 500Wh capacity (like the Blueti EB55).
    Anyway, thanks for the good review .. !

      Thanks, I appreciate the feedback very much ! I started the benchmark testing for the power stations a while back, and it's always the same. Makes for a good comparison sometime.
      Bluetti has good power ranges - but everything I've gotten from them so far always had abysmal efficiency.

    The diesel heater use low speed fan at start ... and you was already at 120W (10A/12V) when the heat start to rise, the heater increase the fan speed which drawn more power then the socket is rated for (120W) ... the socket as then been cutoff whish is normal and show that the safety feature works.

      Yes - 15 Amps are usually enough to power a diesel heater.I think this still a good use case off-grid or in case of an outage. It will still run with a power supply over 220V A/C but that's a bad efficency use-case.

    Can anybody tell me I would Plug in the Solarpanel and the DC Plug parallel, which one does the Allpouwer Station prefers
    Thank for answers in advance

      It uses both at the same time, as far as I can tell it uses all of the Solar and adds the rest up to its charge maximum from the AC input.
      It only has one DC input afaik.

    anyone come across a e207 error? I have two of these and they go into that error whenever they are connected to ac, from 5 minutes to 5 hours. It then shuts of the AC input.

      @dherrendoerfer  6 месяцев назад

      I've tried and left it connected for the last few days, I cannot make it produce a E207 .. sorry. Is that error produced just charging the batteries ?

    • @Samjaza
      @Samjaza 6 месяцев назад

      I have two units pretty close together in serial, they both have the e207 error whenever they are on ac, so either charging or using it as a ups.
      They seem to work fine when just running of the battery.
      I don't have a solar panel to check if it any charging or just ac.

      I have two units I got together (171&180), they bot have the e207 error.
      It happens whenever its connected to ac doesn't matter if its being used as a ups or everything is turned off and its just charging.
      Just running of the battery works well enough other then the power has a bit of high frequency noise in it.
      spoke to support who said to speak to sales, still haven't heard back.

      This device is very sensitive to network overvoltage, so it gives an error. I had this. see how many volts are in the socket

    Recieved mine today. It will not power 3.2 cubic foot mini fridge wich draws 435 watt serge and 48 watts contiuous.... my 24 inch TV s has ovious video distortion when plugged into it. it's going back.

    • @dherrendoerfer
      @dherrendoerfer  6 месяцев назад

      Compressor based appliances are beyond these small units, except when they have full-phase startup/control, but I have not found any up to now in that performance range. TV distortion is something I've never tested for, but the missing common ground to the devices might be the issue here.

    Wow hello do you still have it? Actually I just love this thing but I don’t have enough money right now if you don’t mind do you have any one to give me…?

    • @dherrendoerfer
      @dherrendoerfer  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes I do - I still use it a lot, and (sorry) it's a keeper - no other power station that size will charge from a full-size 58V solar panel.

      @@dherrendoerfer Oh okay. But do you have another 500w to 600w power station? If you don’t have one don’t mind me it’s just that here in Nigeria the financial state is just not stable I really need one but i can’t due to 💵

    А почему на белой модели нет Bluetooth?

    • @dherrendoerfer
      @dherrendoerfer  7 месяцев назад

      It has Bluetooth. Functionally the Bluetooth app copies the front panel and switches. I did not realise it when I was doing the tests, but it actually has good Bluetooth range too.
