This song makes me think of my favourite aunt who passed away many years ago. She had a jukebox at her home and this 7" was in it. Every time I visited I would put it on. She used to say to me I was the only one who ever played it. 10yo me turned to her and said "then this is OUR song". I know that touched her heart cos that ole jukebox was an extension of her. She just knew that any record in there that was loved by anyone other than her was a treasure. So whenever I hear this song, I think of her and I miss her dearly. Love u Aunty J so much xo
like most songs from the 1980s they were fantastic, from the greatest decade ever, much much better in every way than now, i,d go back to them time,s in a flash if only i could, but when i,m at home it still is the mid 1980s, & you,ll see your aunt again some day, i think about all my dead realatives, esp my mam & dad & grandparents & numerous other passed family & friends every single day,'there isen,t a day goes by that i dont think of them all, but i get comfort in knowing that i,ll see them all again some day,
Almost 40 years and I suddenly stumble across this song! I'd totally forgotten about it even though I absolutely loved it as a four year old kid! So weird when you forget about something you loved as a kid, only to randomly rediscover it again decades later, and the powerful hit of nostalgia and the feel good endorphins almost knock you off your feet! Love it.
I was born in 1980, 43 years old and 'Hazel Dean' just randomly dropped into my head for some reason - I Googled "Hazel Dean" and this song is just indescribably captivating. My God those Synths. Just nothing like the 80s. Thanks for this Banger Hazel, wherever you are
I searched Hazel Dean on a well-known music site and it didn’t recognise the name 🤷♂️ I then looked elsewhere and it showed a surname with two letters ‘LL”.
Ahh happy days. If only we'd known it ...so many great acts on the gay scene .hazel among the very best ..but a personal favourite was Marsha raven ..still play her
See/heard this first on top of the pops when I was 9 years old after my dad taped it obviously on vhs Fucking loved it as much as a 9 year old could Now I love aphex twin ;)

In this song, the LinnDrum was heard.
A four-CD set of 1984 hits brought me here, never heard of the song before but definitely my jam of hi-energy style songs.

i only knew this as a Laura Branigan LP song. Hazel's is fantastic too !! 5☆!
Much rather listen to Laura Brannigan than this self- centered annoying lesbian.
Эх , юность , юность !!!
Class 👍👍👍
En Chile fue muy programada en Radio Concierto.

Did Laura Brannigan do this song before Hazell Dean? It's been a while, and I forgot lol. Love and miss the 80s. Great music, and fun.
