Good review and I actually give you plenty of respect for not editing the splash in the background when you missed the hostage target😉 shows that you are not a egotistical fella and you are genuinely giving everyone a good insight into this beautiful Czech pistol. Thank you Justin
Everyone stop complaining about how much it costs, it is after all a race gun and as far as race guns go its at the low end. You want the super performance but the cost of a high point. Quit whining and save for a really good gun... or get rid of 2 or 3 of your Glocks, or 7 or 8 of your high points. Savy?
I held a cz shadow 2 for the first time yesterday. Gun shop let me hold it even though it’s only for law enforcement to buy in CA. I thought it was going to feel like my SP-01 and damn was I wrong. This gun felt heavy, hefty and bigger. I fell in love.
They made the grip longer front to back so they relieved the area under the grip tang to keep trigger reach the same. Comp shooters wanted a grip more like a Tanfo so support hands could find a better anchor point. I put up my review of the Shadow 2 with way too much info a while back. I'm a CZ nerd so keep up with that stuff.
Just finished shooting my friends Shadow 2, now I need one!! What an amazing gun, it is like no other I have shot. It has an amazing sight picture, zero felt recoil, and accurate as hell. His LGS gave him an awesome deal and he just did it after saying he was going to hold off haha.
Oh No another handgun I have to have. But I already have a CZ 85 Single Action only as my carry gun. That I really love! I'll keep my CZ as I think it's the best compromise between a 1911 and a wonder 9mm. So I can save up for this. Love the CZ Shadow 2 Orange😀 Thanks for another video
I love my 75 SP-01 Shadow, but I recently shot my friend's Shadow 2 and... it's on another level. I'm getting one. I'm already saving for an eventual Shadow 3 also, these guys at CZ know what they're doing.

I think this is the smoothest pistol I have fired. I haven't had a chance to shoot a lot of the ultra high end pistols, but with that being said this one was pretty sick.
I didn't think I would like the grip bump but after a few hundred rounds I understand why it's there. It assists the palm to counter rotation of recoil. It is placed inline with the stronger point of the palm. The palm web is much weaker support against the grip spur. Makes me wish my other CZs had that.
I say it in every review I see- drop a spring kit in it and it will be even better. Mine has a 2.6# SA and 6.6# DA. Awesome gun but sometimes I shoot my Tanfoglio better lol. Thanks for the great review!
I'm searching for a Shadow 2 currently. Is it possible to reduce the DA trigger pull without reducing the SA much? Asking since the Shadow 2 might serve as my bedside HD pistol as well as a plinker/competition.

Regardless of how you rank technology, as if striker-fired is inherently superior to hammer, compare a similar gun, such as a Glock 34 (which I have) with the Shadow 2. The Glock may be lighter, but in most every other way, the Shadow 2 betters it -- especially right out of the box. Before I even shot the G34, I had to change the sights -- and $100. The trigger on the Gen 5 is ok, but it can't compare to the Shadow 2's trigger. Maybe someday, in the $800 to $1100 price range, there will be a good striker-fired pistol. Maybe someday.

beautiful handgun. although I think the price is a little toward higher side.
Msrp isn't what it sales for in most cases. With tax I payed $1000.. I live in Minnesota and pay 6.5% sales tax.
Can you tell me the weight of this pistol in kilograms? Fully loaded and empty, please. Thanks.
