7:48 You probably still have the old recipe for golden apples in mind that uses gold nuggets. Nowadays you need 8 golden *ingots* to craft one golden apple which means you will probably need rather 150 - 200 pigs to be converted into zombified piglins instead of just 16 - 25. The good thing is (in my opinion): this means there is actually a reason to automate the pig breeding and zombification process.

If you sacrifice the warped nelium block for netherrack with a pick, place it next to the crimson and bonemeal it, then you can grow crimson fungi without risk of losing all your crimson nelium since you have a backup. That way you can get the shroomlights, fireproof building blocks, and the hanging crimson vines (which would have been a less painful way of building down by building up, over the side, placing the vines, and waiting for their growth - or adding to them as you collect more).

I looked into the source code and I think this is the way cauldrons fill up:
    Every tick in every chunk:
    If it rains:
If a random int from 0-15 is 0
Take a random motion blocking block with sky acces
    trigger handlePrecipitation on that block
If a random float from 0 to 1 is less then 0.05 and it can rain in this biome:
If the cauldron isn't already full:
    Add a fill level
Wiki: "The average rainfall lasts 0.5-1 Minecraft day, and there is a 0.5-7.5 day delay between rains."
So the average rainfall lasts (0.5+1)/2=0.75 days, and the average time between is (0.5+7.5)/2=4 days
So it rains (0.75/(4+0.75)= 3/19 ≈ 16% of the time
    So:
    3/19 chance that it rains
1/16 chance that a block will receive precipitation
1/(16^2) chance that the cauldron is selected (chunk is 16x16)
5/100 chance that the cauldron is filled up a level
So there is a 0.00019274259% chance a cauldron is filled up a level every tick
So it takes on average 518827 ticks for a cauldron to fill up a level = 25941 seconds = 7.2 hours
There are three stages so 7.2 hours times 3 is 22 hours

Yup. Probably 99% of zombie swords just have stuff like Unbreaking II on them. Same problem with skeleton bows - they can theoretically have Flame enchant, and the skeletons even shoot flaming arrows when that happens. I remember this happening approximately 3 times out of every skeleton I've ever fought in Minecraft, across dozens of worlds. So it's painfully uncommon.

@@QuasarEE Yeah, the few times Ive had skeletons start lobbing sticks of flaming death at me, I always got hit at least once as I looked at the first arrow in surprise.

I'm doing my own world on this mod and I just build this farm by watching the time laps and it was so painful but the outcome was soooo worth it, if it wasn't for this time laps I would cry trying to find a waterless farm design tysm

Dude I'm trying it right now, do you have block measures? I think perspective is fucking me off. I also have the tutorial for the farm (the 1.14 one) and I can't fit my spiderproof slabs with him, I always see it wrong :ccccccc

I actually laughed when you said your first light source is a redstone torch. Its stuff like this is what makes these kinds of runs so interesting.

"deluxe" and "starter" are odd words to be paired together!!
I was actually really hoping to see another episode of this series but I figured it would be a while. WOOP
wait you need cobblestone to make a blast furnace and a grindstone BUT you can make a smithing table with wood and iron thank god. otherwise you'd have needed cobblestone to get cobblestone.

I've started this myself yesterday and I stayed on the starter island until I had enough wood to go down and build a proper mobfarm down there. This way I never had to move the dirt into unlit ares (The island beeing spawnproof due to it's location at spawn). This saved me a lot of annoyance with mobs. Since I spawned in cold biome I started shoveling snow at every chance. Foxes spawn nicely on them. Wolves are a pain, but I am now looking forward to get a better fox farm with the help of water.
Until then I gotta hope for the RNG gods to bless me with water levels.
    Invest into guard rails!!
