So the Honeywell I put up wasn't Homekit compatible. So I went and got an Ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium. I had a horrible time. Even got "Brian" in India and he couldn't figure it out and advised a return. Watched this once again and was finally able to figure it out thanks to your video!
Where are you putting the wires to the actual heater itself? I’m trying to install one on my shop heater but I don’t know where to put the R and W on the heater.
Thanks for posting this. This was the only video I could find showing how to wire a Honeywell smart thermostat to a two wire system.
Thank you for this! Spent way too long trying to get this done and you made it happen! THANK YOU!!

Exactly what I have been searching for, thanks so much!
It is almost like the thermostat is acting like a SPDT relay. 🤔
Really did help me understand the circuits tho...
Thank you man! This is exactly what I needed. I appreciate it!
Thank you for your video, I copied this same setup
so you had to plug it into an outlet? Did I miss that part?

Same method for 4 wires system?
if the other two wires are for ac, but I would check because it is possible that you have C wire or another zone
