I happen to disagree. No one can sing RAFI songs better than RAFI. While Sonu has done a very good job here, I personally don't like listening to his Rafi classics. He more often than not spoils it for me. Of course, what brought me here is to see how they arranged the song live :)

Honey Singh has already become history..Baadsah will soon become history...then sensible Indians will realize what mistake they made by giving guy like Honey Singh a chance to invade into the Indian music industry and ignoring singers like Sonu, shaan, K.K, Sanu etc. I can sense that melodious days are coming back again.

Being singer myself, i want to say one thing, for general audience music is about feel but for a singer, a perfect singer is someone who can deliver a song with feel, correct notes, correct mudkis and all is perfectly delivered by sonu sir. No doubt arijit can have versatility but nowadays if we see there are upcoming singers having Versatility but singers like sonu nigam are those who don't miss a note even without music playing. He is a legend.
