  • Hey guys! I know this is a little different than the type of videos I normally make, but I think that no matter who you are, if you're a human on planet earth you have at some time dealt with anxiety, depression or if you're a woman - PMS - and PMDD is an extension of PMS that can cause significant problems in one's life.
Today I'm sharing with you how PMDD affects me and the things that have truly helped me to not only cope with it but live my best life with it.

Such an educational video. I had PMS/PMDD for many years. Not much was known about it nor help available. I’m a completely new person now that I have gone thru menopause! It’s so important to so many women to have a video like this that is educational, supportive and hopeful. You did a great job!❤️❤️❤️

Yes I’ve been there. Stay strong 💗 save those decisions :) write them down and make yourself a promise to come back to them later. The problems won’t go away in a few days, but in a few days you’ll be better equipped to deal with them. 💕

I’m 100% sure I have PMDD also. And just like what you said, it feels like a major depressive episode and then after the first day (sometimes the second day for me), almost every symptom subsides and I’m okay! It does creep back in sometimes after it goes away initially, but it’s never as bad as it is right before I start bleeding. Thank you for posting this video, it helps me feel less alone here. I don’t know anyone close to me who gets it as badly as I do, and it has made me feel like I’m just too sensitive or over exaggerating how I feel. But no, you hit the nail right on the head here

I have researched everything into PMDD and nothing has made me feel better. After watching this video I feel so uplifted and it has put so simply on things we can do. When you mentioned about not scheduling important things and not making plans during when you dont feel so good do you have any tips on how to avoid having to justify yourself to people and not getting guilty for saying no to people especilly close family, in laws, friends and work? I had a quite dysfunctional past from about age 8 to ... I guess 20 ish years old was when things began to improve for me, alot of family dynamics etc - so I have always struggled to some extent with mental health issues. I had post partum depression with both children and my mental health is significantly better now than it was years ago. It's just that PMDD that remains. I am not sure if I had it before childbirth 💗 Because things were generally tough at those times in my life.
