- Hey guys! I know this is a little different than the type of videos I normally make, but I think that no matter who you are, if you're a human on planet earth you have at some time dealt with anxiety, depression or if you're a woman - PMS - and PMDD is an extension of PMS that can cause significant problems in one's life.
Today I'm sharing with you how PMDD affects me and the things that have truly helped me to not only cope with it but live my best life with it.

PMDD is horrific
It’s Hell
It's like being in prison for something you didn't do. 😢 drives me crazy asf, especially when I'm inconsolable
Sending you love ❤ suffer as well @@stateyourthesis
I feel like a mental patient for like 2 wks
Yes it is. 😢
Relationships ruined, opportunities lost, money wasted. I need serious help because I can’t continue like this. I don’t want to.
Such an educational video. I had PMS/PMDD for many years. Not much was known about it nor help available. I’m a completely new person now that I have gone thru menopause! It’s so important to so many women to have a video like this that is educational, supportive and hopeful. You did a great job!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you:) I’m glad you feel like a whole new person and yes it’s incredible how much we are affected by our hormones.
I wish my menopause to be soon.
Thank you ❤ My PMDD is life altering. Only relief is when my period actually starts. I hope youre doing well ❤
This is such a great video, I know during my pmdd days I suddenly want to make all these huge life decisions, not a good idea
Yes I’ve been there. Stay strong 💗 save those decisions :) write them down and make yourself a promise to come back to them later. The problems won’t go away in a few days, but in a few days you’ll be better equipped to deal with them. 💕
OMG I feel you girl! The "lightswitch" dicription is just too accurate. It's the same for me. Thank you for making this validating video.
I'm glad I found this video!
Now I feel less lonely
I’m 100% sure I have PMDD also. And just like what you said, it feels like a major depressive episode and then after the first day (sometimes the second day for me), almost every symptom subsides and I’m okay! It does creep back in sometimes after it goes away initially, but it’s never as bad as it is right before I start bleeding. Thank you for posting this video, it helps me feel less alone here. I don’t know anyone close to me who gets it as badly as I do, and it has made me feel like I’m just too sensitive or over exaggerating how I feel. But no, you hit the nail right on the head here
Thank you for sharing your experiences. I’m grateful to have the awareness, and more reason to do what is best for me.
thank you for this video!! 🫶🏻
Thank you for sharing this video. I have struggled with anxiety and depression all my life. You have given me inspiration for self care that will help augment what my medication does for me.
Great video. Much needed as some people don’t understand Pms let alone the extreme version. 🌸
I appreciate you so much for making this video for us ladies with PMDD. We have so many similarities and it’s nice to not be alone in this.
Great video! I would love to see a follow-up on your experience with antidepressants.
Thank you so much for this video! I have struggled with PMDD for years now, and it seems like it has been getting worse every year. I heard that it’ll get even worse once you hit your thirties. It’s such a difficult condition to live with. Thank you for the helpful tips and for making me feel less alone 🤍😭
Yes I can vouch it definitely has gotten worse in my 30’s!! ❤️
Unfortunately my extreme fatigue and social isolation during this week stops me from going to the gym. I go the other three weeks but maybe something I can do indoors like yoga would help during PMDD week for me. 🤷🏻♀️
Exercise DVDs have been my lifeline. They're happy and smiling and sometimes I feel like they help lift me up and I can laugh and smile with them. There are for sure a few days a month I don't smile with them cuz life is SO impossible with pmdd but I PUSH THROUGH and tell myself to keep moving keep moving.
I love how you explained why you're not in camera, and your explanations are on point. Thank you❤
Thank you so much for making this video. I feel motivated to restart a few things.
Thank you for such a thoughtful video💗
Your voice is so comforting might I add!!
Thank you:) 💕
Thank you. 💛I'm especially struggling right now and this video helps.
Never knew you had PMDD too! Thank you for this video
Oh wow! This video is needed! 🙏🙏🙏
Your awesome Ilythia 🤸🏻♀️🙂
Thanks so much for sharing - I can definitely relate 🤍
I love that you made this video! I have struggled with extremely difficult PMS in the past and it can honestly be almost debilitating at times. I’m glad you’re speaking out on this issue and offering helpful tips to cope. ❤️❤️❤️
thank you 💗 Yes it an be debilitating 100%.
Oh am sorry to hear that you have to deal with this!
We missed you and yes I totally agree about exercising sooo much good for your mood even 15 or 30 minutes walk can help! If you can’t go to gym 🌸💜
Thank you so much!
Excellent, excellent video... thank you so much for sharing your experiences. 👍❤👍
Thank you for this video, you are not alone and apparently I'm not either ❤
This helped so much ❤
So helpful, thank you for your honesty. I am wondering which antidepressant you took?
I have been suffering from extreme PMDD for 4 years now and It has gotten so much worse and I felt like two seperate people. I have researched everything into PMDD and nothing has made me feel better. After watching this video I feel so uplifted and it has put so simply on things we can do. When you mentioned about not scheduling important things and not making plans during when you dont feel so good do you have any tips on how to avoid having to justify yourself to people and not getting guilty for saying no to people especilly close family, in laws, friends and work? Thank you for this video I have learnt so much
Very good point, many times I have felt the need to say I'm in my period, please leave me alone, with out feeling the others will feel rejected
I LOOOOOVE this video !!!especially the diet and food information 🙏
Thank you:)
This was very helpful. I think I may be dealing with it as well, I didn’t know about PMDD at all
no problem! Thank you for watching :)
Thank you for spreading awareness on this.
This video really helped me :) It is so relaxing and helping💕 Thank you so much! After watching this video I subscribed you :) Thank you for sharing your experinece and advice 🥰
Awe thank you so much. I’m glad that it could help!!! Even if it helps one person that’s all I need to know it was worth it to make. 💗
Just wanted to say thanks for making this video ! ❤ Currently here now but know it’ll be back to normal soon 😅
Please do a video about your experience with anti depressants. Thank you for creating this one.
Did you end up doing a video on the medication you took temporarily? I would like to hear that.
Thank you! I need to hear this information!
Thank you so much for this video. Yes please could you share more info around when you started taking the medication. Ive been prescribed anti-depressants but haven't taken them yet
Thanks a lot for this, it’s so relatable, planning around this helps, except when you’ve got OSCEs that week 😢
Thank you for raising awareness 💖🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️💖 more awareness will genuinely save lives, keep going u r doing so much xxxxxxxxxx lets look out for our young girls and each other and try to use this horrible experiences to maybe help others not suffer so much through this 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you for this every time whenever I feel depressed have anxiety I wanna leave my marriage and leave everyone or just die I’m glad I find this community 💖🥺
I loved this video! I feel the same way about Alcohol! When i started working out and doing hot yoga regularly i started to hate the feeling Alcohol gave me.
Absolutely. These days I can tolerate a couple ounces of a nice dry white wine as an occasional thing but I wouldn’t want any more than that or on a regular basis.
Thankyou this is really helpful.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with these conditions. I like many women, I am sure, have that in various degrees and knowing how to cope isn’t easy. If you could share more about your experience with taking antidepressant, I know I would really appreciate it a lot. Also, if perfumes were could be therapeutic and which ones. I know they help me a lot. Hugs!
Thank you so much, I definitely will! 💗
Very comforting video, thanks!
Thanks for sharing 💙
Thank you for this video ❤
I do have a formal diagnosis. Yeah, basically, it affects day to day life (during that time) SO much more. Get a good psychiatrist if yall think you might have it. And work on regulating the basics (exercise, diet, and sleep).
Thank you for sharing. So glad I'm not alone in this. ❤ One thing that is life changing for my PMDD is a supplement called Jubilance. I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with PMDD.
Do you take intermittently or every day?
@elizabethsummermeado I take it every day.
thank you very much for this info I also suffer from pmdd ❤️ I wanted to ask you if there are days when it is better to train/go to the gym and others where it is not
Honestly, sometimes it’s the most painful thing and so hard to do depending on the day and current life circumstances. But I always feel better even if I get just 15 to 20 mins of a workout in. But I know there will be days when I just can’t get myself there, so I try to go consistently during my good days:)
I suspect I have PMDD because right before my period I tend to get suicidal and don’t want to go on/become very hateful and grumpy. Its crazy how being proactive firing that week might just help. Thanks for the video
Love this video self care that is what I’m working on myself now
OMG this has literally been the biggest hindrance upon my entire life. I thought I was bipolar. I thought I was crazy but no, it’s PMDD
❤❤❤ pms is sometimes difficult. Loved that you made this video about your self. I know life is not easy, but when we grow we can do that change that we need in our life.
I am thankful that I don’t have pms that hard, but my heart goes to you 🙏🏻❤️ and I am happy that you can do that change in plans when the hard time comes.
Thank you! 💗
Thank you, thank yoi, thank you!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭💖💖💖
do you reccomend any help for getting sleep? When my symptoms start I won’t sleep for days no matter what I do
I'm always praying that I can get through this. It's hard. 😢
Thid is me!!!!! Wow, thank you for video!!!
I just started taking a Chasteberry supplement. Hoping it helps with my irritability this month! I also am making sure to take a god quality multivitamin as well.
You nailed it .
I am a coffee lover as well ☕️☕️🌸
Love this video, Thank you so much for your help and concern for others!! 🤍
Oh God I’m going through this phase and I feel I’m in a box and I can’t breath . No one is understanding in my family n I ask for help .
Same situation I have😔🥺
Very sound advice.
Has anyone tried the pill for it or an antidepressant... Dr sugest these
Before my period, I will cry a lot, or I will get mad without any reason. I just can’t help it. My husband doesn’t like it & will say you should know how to handle your emotions. He doesn’t help me, he will make me feel worse 😢
it's so severe it affects my career 😢
i m going through it ryt now.
mine doesnt go away during my period but does after?
I’m struggling with it big time 😢
I am having my worst time now . I want to get better
I suffer from bad pmdd
I got diagnosed today. The guilt and shame is unbearable.
Has this changed since having your child or not?
I had a quite dysfunctional past from about age 8 to ... I guess 20 ish years old was when things began to improve for me, alot of family dynamics etc - so I have always struggled to some extent with mental health issues. I had post partum depression with both children and my mental health is significantly better now than it was years ago. It's just that PMDD that remains. I am not sure if I had it before childbirth 💗 Because things were generally tough at those times in my life.
This is literally me
As soon as I started my period at 12 pmdd started for me
💙
I relate! I learned how to reverse it and teach women how to do it for themselves. Let me know if you want information. Thanks for sharing your experience!
I have PMDD it’s a nightmare and I’m 40 YO I’ve noticed it gets even worse with age I suffer immensely 😢😢
I wish my younger self was able to view this video
U now in islam the pepol dont drink alkoholl at all.niiiice video
Yes 💕
It's devil... 😢😢
Always reach out if you are struggling, save some numbers in your phone in case you need to talk to someone, dont go it alone xxx
Nothing helps pmdd believe me , only a hysterectomy can resolve it but even that sends you straight into full blown menopause, I’m 55 had pmdd since age 16 had pmdd 35 years , believe me I know my stuff, I’m in perimenopause now and literally bedridden with symptoms literally can’t function defiantly 💯 worse in peri , I cant wait for full blown menopause for pmdd to end 🤞🏼
how many sexual partners?
THANK YOU
