Wow, what a great character figure! When I saw the character, I immediately thought of The song, "Old Hippie " bu The Bellsmy Brothers. Maybe have him im:
1. A tee shirt, jeans, old army cap and/ or a headband , old boots, and army style over coat.
2. Maybe a Vietnam biker.
3. Maybe have him serious until he hits a punchline.
No one really looks at life from their angle.
