@@HiHi-yk1mv yeah right. Out of respect towards kiiller players they should just walk around the map doing nothing for no reason until the devs give them more objectives to do. 🤡
A few things: 1. Though the perks helped, your chases were incredibly short. You're really good at chasing, and the survivors you were chasing were bad overall. You had a quitter every game, these teams were barely average in skill, and that just makes the perks look stronger than they are. 2. It's not "Free" Gen slowdown. You have to find and hook four different survivors after succeeding in your chases, and for pain-resonance, get them to a specific hook. Nothing about that is "free." Just like Dead Hard isn't a "free health state" like some people suggest. My point is the combo is healthy for the games as it actively discourages tunneling/camping someone out of the game to get pressure, which is good for survivors, and it prevents genrushing squads from popping three generators in the first 90 seconds of the game, which is good for killers.
I used to be a killer main and even I don’t think this is “healthy” teams with bad coordination are gonna have a hell of a time going against this when it becomes the meta, that or bhvr guts all four perks into absolute uselessness within a week.
@@thesavagegummybear7341 you being a killer main is irrelevant here because the game can't constantly cater to people with a massive skill issue. this build can be countered and as the original comment states, discourages tunneling and campin. its good all around but if you're garbage like the people in the video with horrible pathing, running into walls and stuff, it just makes the build LOOK op.
As a fellow Singularity main, using the kids ball glove seems to throw off a lot of skilled survivors as theyre assuming your Overclock is going to be shorter and they end up making plays that work against them. They'll throw pallets earlier expecting your Overclock to be over and dont expect you to be able to lunge so far since you still have overclock on etc Also throws off timing on loops like killer shack as you keep your speedboost for just a tiny bit longer than survs will assume
the ball glove with the soma photo makes sense i am surprised you don't get why we use it. ( i use it sometimes) But its mainly to get more value from the added haste because soma photo cuts the time you spend overclocked by 20% if i am right and the glove adds 15% so 5% overall if we only had 1 player tagged with slip stream. but if more have it the value from the haste is even greater and can end chases faster and combo with speed perks, window vault perks, also can help you close the gap when survivors try to pre drop pallets on you so you can erase a pallet and tag/down a survivor. (what you got here at 6:44) is also a good reason to have that add on combo
On Shattered Square, you can place a camera on one of the broken beams of the main building's rooftop, specifically on their underside. Can see the entire top floor and the outside.
As a killer main whose been playing a lot since the new patch, I can tell you this build (minus Rapid Brutality because I've been playing Deathslinger) these gen blocking perks help out A LOT. It still comes down to the wire a lot, but it feels better knowing that all the gens arent just going to pop in your face all the time and I have time to hunt people down.
Hey coco latte if you ever see this: I play singularity a lot and find myself getting shocking value from a slugging type build. Here is my favourite version: family photo and live wires (wires very important) knockout (basically needed), ruin, sloppy, and either another slugging perk (like caurophobia) or alternative slowdown (like surge) try it out, it’s super fun
You forgot to mention a key reason this combo isnt overpowered is because the use of the two perks is obvious to all players. Any survivor with a brain will of course be surprised the very first time it happens. But after that first time everyone knows the other three teammates will trigger the combo when they get hooked. Everyone knows when someone is down, all the way to when theyre hooked. So it is very to avoid the DMS portion of the combo.
You have a lot of faith in solo queue dont you? Even in a swf this combo is busted af. Not to mention it is going to SKY ROCKET to the number one build in the game for ALL killers. So every survivor will expect it long before the first hook. I already am surprised when a killer DOES NOT have pain res. Secondly this builds "counter" is not getting hooked. So it has no counters.
I like what they did with Grim Embrace no matter how annoying it can be bc it discourages camping and tunneling because you HAVE to go for other survivors and leave the hook range
I've been on and off DbD for a while now, and I was never a fan of the Singularity. Always thought he felt kinda clunky to use effectively. But watching you play is something else. I enjoy very much how skillful you are with the killer, and I might give them another chance some time soon thanks to you.
I think using something like sloppy to augment your mid to late game would be better for this build instead of DMS. DMS is kinda redundant most of the time in this build and survs often can predict that it will happen after the first time it triggers.
Funfact: I used a build similar to this one on Knight, with one difference: Instead of rapid brutality, I'm using Ruin. It hurts the blocked Gens even more!
Did you ever find the bot? I haven’t played since the new patch, but I have been planning a build to use Grim on. Thrilling Tremors, Grim Embrace, Pop, NWTH. Thrilling to proc on a pickup and see where gens are being worked on. Grim to push survivors off those gens. Pop to get to those gens and decimate it. NWTH to quickly find someone and get into next chase. It is strongest only on those first 4 hooks, but can still find use even after Grim is gone.
in your experience do you think the iridescent addon everyone slipstreamed is better than kids ball glove? i personally think getting a shorter overclock mode can actually help, regains access to your power faster for a variety of reasons, coupled with the iridescent one, and you start pressuring them from the start
I’m so pissed about not picking up grim embrace, i just had a feeling it was one of those perks bhvr would buff the absolute shit out of ages ago but I just felt like it wasn’t even worth getting at the time.
The issue with the build is gens are blocked for 3 minutes throughout the match and your asking for a 6th gen to be repaired because of pain res, that's why the combo is a bit broken. Plus you can run another gen perk on top. And on top of that there's some killers that amplify that even further. It's fine on trapper, is broken on blight
I'd say gen speeds are okay-ish for the most part (until you run into either a baby solo q team or 4 BNPs). And yes, Trapper is extremely weak as is, even with this build, because chase is not his stronger side, he simply wasn't designed that way
The combo is not bad, but the weakness of it is that it's a "win more" build. This doesn't really happen to veteran content creators much, but for the average player it's not uncommon to only get 1-2 unique hooks in a game against a decent team - and when that happens you've got nothing.
@@bynosaurus4024 It's not the build's fault, but it's when you need your build to help you the most. I like this build but how about running Hex: Undying and Hex: Ruin instead of the Scrouge Hook and Rapid Brutality? Might fit better on another killer than singularity but all the Generator blockage and with a killer you can apply a lot of pressure on the survivors seems pretty good.
is it really the best build? survivors can just print new EMPs while gens are blocked. Singularity is one of those killers that don't really get value from preventing survivors from just doing gens instead of regressing / slowing them down, because survivors can always do something else instead of being left to do useless tasks if they can't heal like they do against most other killers.
Meant to put a question mark in the video title. In the video I go over how I don't actually think it's the best build but I do say it is very strong. After countless hours on this killer I believe his best playstyle is a hyper aggressive slugging playstyle and I don't think I can be convinced otherwise unless I see something crazy I've never seen before. Singularity can snowball games just as fast as nurse and blight if you play properly. Grim Embrace and Dead Man's Switch constantly blocking gens while survivors go down left and right will demotivate a lot of the survivors you go against and will sometimes cause them to give up entirely. Sometimes it's all about the mental game baby
@@CocolatteLive I think the same and follow the same playstyle. Singularity works the best when he constantly applies pressure on all survivors, overwhelming them with urgent tasks they need to solve - healing, printing EMPs, picking up slugs, doing more gens which eventually creates a scenario where they have to either commit to just printing EMPs & healing (which is effectively your win condition if you don't let go) or giving up on that and trying to do gens through that (also a win condition because then you turn into a scarier nurse with global map presence). Blocking gens doesn't fit that playstyle because survivors aren't overwhelmed, they're just forced to redistribute their time on something else.
