He’s definitely the hardest killer imo. So much time can be wasted in one chase so easily. I think he requires the most focus. The fact you were able to talk while playing him is impressive.

I've been loving singularity because of your videos. I've been using plaything, crew manifest and the amount of times a survivor couldn't hear me but I just had wallhack and I got a free down or hit is wild. Some of the most fun I've had with a killer, love your vids, keep up the amazing work.
Singularity is greatly underperforming statistically with one of the lowest kill rates and pick rates in the game right now. Buffs might be coming soon. I don't really think he's bad but it would be great to see some bigger nerfs to emps imo. Maybe emps should only work on the person holding them? Let me know what you think.
@@CocolatteLive Honestly they'd need to fix certain maps to have higher verticality (Lerys and Midwich) and add some more vantage points to corn maps. Also maybe have cameras not use 2018 Ghostface stalk detection :P
@@CocolatteLive Additionally I think they can just straight take EMPs out of the game and make Slipstreams last 20 seconds, reduced to 10 in chase. Cameras would have a limited number of goop they could tag survivors with before running out and needing to be replaced. Killer power is nowhere near strong enough to allow survivors to so easily counter it.

Dude, Singularity is such a high multitask Killer.. you have to have so much in your head at the same time. I couldn't main that guy without having my brain burn out. Meanwhile we have things like Clown... go fast or go slow.
This, The Pig, The Cenobite, and The Onryo are the only Killers that have "Time Pressure". So, i am impress with this style of game play and i really think i will give The Singularity a chance again after watching this. P.S the reason why i think The Singularity is a time pressure is because the Survivors have to be on their toes on what to handle first because a nasty combination i found for The Singularity is using a Hex, Knock Out, Gear Head, and Monstrous Shrine, along with Lived Wire and the mangled hit during overclock mode add-on.
@@morgremlingetting EMPs IS slowdown as it get survivors to do something other than gens. This is why nemesis is considered to have slow down even if it’s pretty negligible.
@@defiant3752 emps are barely a slowdown, compared to nemesis which requires you to open a chest, emps can be just picked up and used while running (even if it slows you down while moving it’s not even comparable to nemesis only letting you use the vaccine while standing)

Im not goin to lie. At the first glance the killer seemed to be weak and unfun to play as ... but after some time (and 5k hours in game and 2k hours on billy) this killer is fun to play as an aggresive kind of killer ... Keep up with the good content m8!
Hux is an absolute joy ride to play when everything lines up in your favor, but it's really frustrating how quickly he falls off when you get a really bad map, try an off meta build, or run into a 3-4 man squad that can easily coordinate EMP's and body blocks. (or all 3!) Tight indoor maps like Lery's and The Game are downright MISERABLE to play with him (I'm at P5 with him now, and I don't think I've won a single game on either of those in that whole time), and while you can somewhat force consistency by running NOED, meta regression perks, and strong addons like the family photo & denied form literally every game, it's not fun to feel like you have to do that just to keep up.
Been thinking about this video to try to fully absorb everything that happened. I got to say regardless of opinions i have you are a very impressive Singularity player. One of the best, honestly. My problem with Singularity is the skill input required to achieve results is significantly less than the skill input required for survivors to undo everything. Now, it being a 4v1 game and him being a setup killer makes that a lot worse. Its often a real pain getting his biopods to be set down correctly and often even at all because there is always some reason it doesnt want to set down. Can't be set on the floor, can't be set on ceilings, ect. I hate the masssive fatigue he gets when exiting a biopod, and perhaps most of all i hate the EMPs being unlimited and self charging. Imagine if that was how it was for Nemesis! And with there being so many crates they never run into a situation where they dont want to use it. The buff to biopod down time was nice but ignores the problem. At that point the damage is done and youre basically powerless. I play both sides and still never been killed by a Singularity. I think he has a lot that a really good player can take advantage of but it requires a ton of knowlege and turbulations to overcome and just to hope it doesnt get undone. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this as right now I don't like playing him and put him low B high C tier. Thanks for reading!
I’ve only gotten kills using his aura reading addons , I usually can’t get use out of his special abilities because the survivors emp or hide out of sight . He’s difficult to play as intended .
He really isn’t a set up killer and I feel that is why he underrated. Like 2 maybe 3 cams top should be placed to help strong locations like cow tree. Majority of the time your cams should be placed reactively to your chase location. Which is what this guy does it makes emps slightly less impactful.
@WickdGamr Nemesis requires you tier up, this does not. Even then you could argue the set up is at least getting tier 2 otherwise he's worse than powerless. That's beside the point though. Singularity has to walk around the map setting biopods (3, 8, 100, it doesn't matter how many.) It's setup regardless.
Never once have I understood singularity lol, him on cowshed going "don't do what I just did" is still a thousand times better than what I'd ever do 1000 hours in lol
think of your slipsteam pods on their backs like a ball and chain they are dragging behind them. if you teleport to them while they are vaulting, you will be on the wrong side when you appear, so wait a second if you want to skip the vaulting animation
I've just played with Singularity on Garden of Joy like you did in the video and I tried to play the loops like you did but your survivours made a tons of mistake. Not gonna lie, I feel like Singularity really depends on survivour mistakes which makes it pretty average and not that good. For example, my survivours after the teleport just kept walking around the obstacles and I couldn't do anything while your survivours dropped the loop immediately for some reason. So I don't know what to think know, if you have any advice for this please let me know because currently I'm hopeless and I want to learn this killer too.
For as easy as it is to counter both the bipod and the slipstream the enps should take WAY longer to bring in than they currently are and they ahouldnt be automatically coming in either
If you take build suggestions then I have a build for you to use Build 1: Brutal strength (Trapper perk) Im all ears (Ghostface perk) Claustrophobia (demo/universal perk) and Remember me (Freddy perk) Add on: Hyperawareness (Green addon) and Crew manifest (purple addon) I tend to have a lot of fun with this build because I always love to run chase builds and to put pressure on survivors like no other killer can :)
Idk if they buff him he s gonna be too much. I believe his only weakness is 1v1 and soma family photo helps a shit ton with it. I want to try the alien perk and see how he performs.
@@CocolatteLive it could be strong with soma photo. one thing i will say is that if you are going for the whole spread infection play-style, Do you think andriod arm for +2 meters of infection is more worth it then 25% faster spread. according to wiki, regular distance to spread infection is 6. so 6+4 = 10 and delay to spread is 2 seconds. so wouldn't 2 extra meters be superior because survivor needs to spread out more. 25% faster on 2 second is only 0.4 second difference, so 1.6 seconds is barely any different from 2 seconds.

Do you think unrelenting or enduring would be good perks on singularity? I feel like since survivors are scared to stun you in your power you would be able to swing through pallets easier and catch up to survivors.
@@tylerrassi4148that doesn't help, Singularity can swing on pallets in Overclocked mode because he is unstunnable, and Unrelenting helps you when survivor doesn't drop a pallet Also, Enduring might help if you get stunned and slipstream to a survivor to break a pallets instantly
@@jfoster8624 in a perspective of a whole game it's fine i guess, if there is no pallets on the map and you have 3-gen, the game is basically ends for survs i guess, and you wil have some stacks of coup de grace to that time i guess, so it's not a big deal to break pallets like this on the hux.

@@DarthRane113 yeah honestly i think the only thing that singularity is missing is making it so the emps only passively go up to 90% so you have to manually do the last 10% which is like 5 seconds but still would be really nice cause then you don't have 4 emps ready at once and you can just drive by pick them up
So I’ve been playing a lot of singularity lately cause I’m a wesker main and I want to learn him and get better with him but their is times where he is frustrating when I’m on a cam and the survivor won’t get slip streamed even though his entire body is showing why is that, also why is it when I’m trying to place a biopod on a tree or a wall why doesn’t it place is it like I need to waste an extra few seconds just placing one, also how do you feel about soma family photo becoming base kit.

have you tried coup de grace + agitation+starstruck+ awakened awareness? With info from biopods you always know where to go carrying the surv, so you do a big pressure on the area you want, or on the area the survs are working on the gens.
Hey just wanted to say, it's really cool to see someone actually playing Singularity, and showing that he's not as bad as they say. Also, you're growing so fast! I do have some questions for you: Do you think he could use the Soma photo basekit? Or just longer overclock? What addons do you think need to be changed? I found the hologram generator to be totally useless. The Hyperawareness spray does the same thing but better basically.
Oh yeah, those would be good changes I think. I think he just needs some more potency. Without Coup I feel like teleports can not even matter often. Even if it was just one meter closer it would make a huge difference. What I was thinking for the speed addon would be to make it basekit, but only if you teleport from a pod. Right now pod teleports are much harder, but there's no benefit. Also, why does he have like 3 aura addons lol. The iridescent crystal should be made into something else. @@CocolatteLive
I think that to honestly make singularity better they need to change emps again. He’s an absolute dogshit killer when emps are so plentiful and easy to pick up. The amount of times I’ve seen people emp my pods off them in the middle of chase and are able to still make it to a pallet or window is crazy. I really think there should be a limit to how many emps are spawned as the match goes on. Like once you get to mid late game emps should take even longer to generate and forces survivors to be smarter when using emps rather than just using them mindlessly because they know another one will be ready. Singularity has the potential to be one of the best killers in the game if they balanced his counter. I’ve never seen a killer be so held back by his own power. Because unlike plague or wesker or nemesis, singularity gets nothing when his power is countered, absolutely nothing. And that’s just a bad way to design a killer. You can’t make a counter to a killer that only benefits Survivors yet makes the killer get no return for the loss in power. They need to take a look at this killer again. The emp “nerf” wasn’t enough.

The issue I've noticed with most of these "How to play [ insert killer name here]" videos is that they actually give no tips. The only "tips" they give is perks and how to utilize them at the beginning, the rest is just gameplay with boring editing and random phrases. I was actually looking forward for a Singularity tips video since I started maining it recently but to no surprise all the actual video tips are about obvious gameplay tricks while the rest is like this. tldr: most videos like these don't actually give tips, gain skill by playing basically. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But it would be nice if you had something that would hook more people into watching, because just like what happened with me I was not invested due to how boring some moments were. Maybe its just me but more editing will not hurt.
I'd say I'm atleast alright with singularity, granted, I'm not high MMR. Use cams in chase. ALOT. You can also use these spread out cams from your chases for map pressure. Also, break most things in chases, singularity cant exactly lose distance past a certain point without a line of sight break, so. Keep cams here and there at gens, but dont rely on those cams. Those are just there to pressure survivors into grabbing an EMP instead of sitting on a gen, and if they dont, they get punished for it bad. Chases should end in up to 15 seconds if you're using your power right, and aren't against super confident survivors. Most importantly of all, though, stay calm. Try not to get all rushed, or your camera placement will be off, and you'll make major mistakes. Despite that, don't be super slow, either. Singularity is a very quick killer. I'm also not the best at explaining these things. Check out The Singularity - Quick Guide. I forgot who made it, but that title should get you there. Have fun out there, go have some face meltingly fast matches.

singularity has a lot of things basekit but NOT time pressure. theres no built in slowdown regarding the power

Enduring doesn't work when in overclock and Unrelenting isn't good on any killer.

One question: Do you think the singularity could play against strong SWFs? Or if the Singularity goes down against a decent SWF you simply don't have the slightest chance of Singularity?
entirely depends on the map i reckon, he's pretty map dependant against really good players
No against good swf he's garbage, even average teams can handle him quite well with just how free the emps are

@@DarthRane113 yeah honestly i think the only thing that singularity is missing is making it so the emps only passively go up to 90% so you have to manually do the last 10% which is like 5 seconds but still would be really nice cause then you don't have 4 emps ready at once and you can just drive by pick them up

So I’ve been playing a lot of singularity lately cause I’m a wesker main and I want to learn him and get better with him but their is times where he is frustrating when I’m on a cam and the survivor won’t get slip streamed even though his entire body is showing why is that, also why is it when I’m trying to place a biopod on a tree or a wall why doesn’t it place is it like I need to waste an extra few seconds just placing one, also how do you feel about soma family photo becoming base kit.

have you tried coup de grace + agitation+starstruck+ awakened awareness? With info from biopods you always know where to go carrying the surv, so you do a big pressure on the area you want, or on the area the survs are working on the gens.
Hey just wanted to say, it's really cool to see someone actually playing Singularity, and showing that he's not as bad as they say. Also, you're growing so fast! I do have some questions for you: Do you think he could use the Soma photo basekit? Or just longer overclock? What addons do you think need to be changed? I found the hologram generator to be totally useless. The Hyperawareness spray does the same thing but better basically.
Oh yeah, those would be good changes I think. I think he just needs some more potency. Without Coup I feel like teleports can not even matter often. Even if it was just one meter closer it would make a huge difference. What I was thinking for the speed addon would be to make it basekit, but only if you teleport from a pod. Right now pod teleports are much harder, but there's no benefit. Also, why does he have like 3 aura addons lol. The iridescent crystal should be made into something else. @@CocolatteLive

I think that to honestly make singularity better they need to change emps again. He’s an absolute dogshit killer when emps are so plentiful and easy to pick up. The amount of times I’ve seen people emp my pods off them in the middle of chase and are able to still make it to a pallet or window is crazy. I really think there should be a limit to how many emps are spawned as the match goes on. Like once you get to mid late game emps should take even longer to generate and forces survivors to be smarter when using emps rather than just using them mindlessly because they know another one will be ready. Singularity has the potential to be one of the best killers in the game if they balanced his counter. I’ve never seen a killer be so held back by his own power. Because unlike plague or wesker or nemesis, singularity gets nothing when his power is countered, absolutely nothing. And that’s just a bad way to design a killer. You can’t make a counter to a killer that only benefits Survivors yet makes the killer get no return for the loss in power. They need to take a look at this killer again. The emp “nerf” wasn’t enough.

The issue I've noticed with most of these "How to play [ insert killer name here]" videos is that they actually give no tips. The only "tips" they give is perks and how to utilize them at the beginning, the rest is just gameplay with boring editing and random phrases.
I was actually looking forward for a Singularity tips video since I started maining it recently but to no surprise all the actual video tips are about obvious gameplay tricks while the rest is like this.
tldr: most videos like these don't actually give tips, gain skill by playing basically. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you for taking my comment lightly and explaining. But it would be nice if you had something that would hook more people into watching, because just like what happened with me I was not invested due to how boring some moments were. Maybe its just me but more editing will not hurt.

I'd say I'm atleast alright with singularity, granted, I'm not high MMR.
Use cams in chase. ALOT.
You can also use these spread out cams from your chases for map pressure.
Also, break most things in chases, singularity cant exactly lose distance past a certain point without a line of sight break, so.
Keep cams here and there at gens, but dont rely on those cams. Those are just there to pressure survivors into grabbing an EMP instead of sitting on a gen, and if they dont, they get punished for it bad.
Chases should end in up to 15 seconds if you're using your power right, and aren't against super confident survivors.
Most importantly of all, though, stay calm. Try not to get all rushed, or your camera placement will be off, and you'll make major mistakes.
Despite that, don't be super slow, either. Singularity is a very quick killer.
