All the new grounds have lost something. I know in Europe they sill have standing but they put in seats for UEFA games. Iunderstand why they had to change because of all the deaths at Bradford in 1985, Brussels the same year and Hillsborough in 89. I’m an Aberdeen fan we still have an old fashioned ground because we have no money!
Lovely to hear Brian Moore. Nobody said "oh" quite like the great man. Tony Woodcock is the co commentator that struggles to finish his sentences by the way. Nobody in England knew matteus at that time, hence Brian referring to him as mattoos in the first half and matthouse in the second. (The new Berti Vogts??). Of course the name of the home team will always bring back thoughts of the joke...who's the most unpopular supporter on the terraces of Borrussia Moenchengladbach?.....the guy that shouts "GIVE US A 'B' ".....
